Political Analyst Mutahi Ngunyi Predicts Ruto’s Win in 2027 Polls

Political Analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has refuted the notion that President William Ruto will only serve one term.

Ngunyi confidently predicts that Ruto will achieve a resounding victory in the 2027 elections, despite scepticism and doubt. While unsure of the exact strategy that will lead to Ruto’s success, Ngunyi asserts that the patterns are clear to an unbiased observer. He challenges critics by asserting that what they dismiss as falsehoods are the sincere aspirations of a visionary leader.
Yesterday, Ngunyi stated that President William Ruto will position Azimio leader Raila Odinga as the president of Africa.

“And for the RECORD: Those saying that Ruto will be a ONE-TERM President are Day DREAMERS. In 2027, Ruto will WIN with a LANDSLIDE. I do NOT know HOW. But the TRENDS are obvious to the OBJECTIVE eye. What you are calling LIES are DREAMS of a sincere man. And God will grant them.” Ngunyi’s message in X reads.

This comment follows Raila’s announcement of his desire to become the next African Union Commission chairperson. Ngunyi notes that the Mt Kenya region has been reluctant to support the President despite him appointing 10 ministers from their region. Ngunyi predicts that Ruto will now promote Raila to a more prominent role, prompting Mt Kenya region to recognize that Ruto’s future political alliances will lie with the Luo community. According to Ngunyi, Ruto’s strategy is a shrewd one.

Despite occasionally criticizing the political moves and allies of Ruto, Ngunyi has now thrown his support behind him. Ngunyi has urged President William Ruto to stay committed to his economic strategies and disregard detractors. Meanwhile, Raila has made a public announcement stating his desire to run for the chairmanship of the African Union Commission. He firmly believes that he is the most suitable candidate and has been actively seeking advice and opinions on the matter.

Raila’s announcement coincided with the AU’s Executive Council session in Addis Ababa, where Foreign Affairs CS Musalia Mudavadi is expected to gather support. Additionally, Raila has received support from former Nigeria President Olusegun Obasanjo who acts as the AU Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa.
