Distinguished Kenyan philanthropist Lyna Nyamwaya has successfully earned a Doctor of Education in Leadership from Spalding University in Kentucky.

This recent academic achievement complements her extensive charitable work, reinforcing her commitment to strengthening positive change both locally and globally. Dr. Nyamwaya is renowned not only for her educational accomplishments but also for her impactful philanthropic initiatives. Her younger brother, Sammy Ondimu Ngare, describes her as a nurturing figure and a devoted wife, exemplifying her deep sense of family and community.

He refers to her as his “big sister in the USA” and narrates the inspiration she provides through her dedication to philanthropy. A cornerstone of Dr. Nyamwaya’s charitable work is the annual “Mulika Mwizi” challenge, an initiative that has positively impacted the lives of over 1,000 Kenyans by providing essential Christmas gifts to families in need.
