Opposition leader Raila Odinga has moved to assure his supporters that last week unity pact with President Kenyatta doesn’t mean he has abandoned his political agenda.
Addressing his supporters at different stops in Kisumu on Friday, Odinga said the move to meet the Head of State was meant to initiate the much needed dialogue in the country.
“I am here to tell you that nothing has changed. We stand for what we fought for, we just decided to give dialogue a chance to solve our problems,” Odinga told thousands of supporters who turned out on the streets of the lakeside city to meet him.
Raila toured Kisumu after attending the burial ceremony of Prof Tumbo Oeri, a National Super Alliance strategist, in Kisii earlier in the day. This was his first visit to the region, which is considered his political bedrock, since the peace deal with President Kenyatta.
However, when Odinga posted a message on social media thanking supporters from Kisumu for the warm welcome they showed him, a section of them expressed their anger over his latest move.
Amina Ramadhan commented: “Ulituuza kwa tamaa yako. Meanwhile, Miguna is coming back, prepare for all dramas, hate speech, insults, criticism n NASA’s secrets exposure. Last he was on Uhuru, the gun now turns on u. Remember how Miguna risked his life n suffered great loses trying to fight for democracy which u betrayed. Hope 2022, u won’t run for presidency coz u’ll be embarrassed more than chebukati embarrassed you.”
Martin Chore remarked: “Nkt you waited innocent Kenyans to be killed through this so called Cannan of yours…tell us whom you are a devil…may God judge you harshly for the innocent Kenyans who perished in your name…”
Wuod Wuon Loo noted: “Baba you decided to leave in the midst of river Jordan,,an GI lit sana BT miguna anakuja kutuvukisha the promised land traitor wewe.”
Joan Gee said: “Still having my reservations about your intentions. Will justice for those who died be served or is this a case of March 2008? Are you going to settle for leftovers yet you won the election?”
Nicholas Nyariang said: “Total Nonsense,You should be in the front line to champion our rights by making sure That 2007/2008 poll victims are Paid and the latest poll Violence get their rights then you retire from politics.”
Samson Kitema declared: “I have voted for you two times and i will not vote for you again, what were we resisting for if i may ask you. You are very selfish and you can join Jubilee to eat meat together.”
Baba campaigning and…
Baba campaigning and grooming to have his daughter Winnie in the government. Of course no one can take over the mantle besides your flesh and blood, just like his daddy did for him. Born with a silver spoon like the rest of them; no wonder they don’t connect with the common man.
Raila is lying to his…
Raila is lying to his supporters and they know it. From their comments, it is obvious the cannot trust him any more.
The damage done by Jubilee…
The damage done by Jubilee can only be fixed by God.
Raila knows he can’t fix it.
That’s the truth.
There is no cure for Jubilee stupidity, greed and idiot behaviours.
Ahem! I have a problem…
Ahem! I have a problem people, so please let me share so you can perhaps assist. What problem? I hear you ask. Well….Raila is pissing me off big time! Not for his political umalaya….no, no, no! That’s another story. I think this man is on to something that we are not privy to. I can’t express how annoying it is to come home from a grueling unforgiving shift from work, click on Mwakilishi only to be met with this guy who appears to be aging in reverse, fresh as a daisy and hopping all over the country! Kwani? The recent photos with Uhuru ages Uhuru at least a decade. Uhuru is young enough to be his son, yet they look like age mates. The question is: how does he do it? On the road everyday and not a sign of fatigue. Someone solve this riddle. Quest1 if you happen to know the formula, we could bottle it and sell for a fortune. We could find a catchy name like RAILALITE. I would own the copyright of course, whilst you travel all over Canaan land selling the brand at a commission. How long are we going to piggy ride on Raila hoping for the riches?!
Uhuru Kenyatta is not our…
Uhuru Kenyatta is not our President.
Anyways.
A political system that requires Kenyans to die to: 1. bring polticians to the “Shake Hands”
2. To open negotiation talks
3. To convince political stakeholders-International community- and other politicians that things have to CHANGE is a SICK political system that reeks of American and Europeans stupidity which is “We will help or give you money if people die” type of stupidity. This is a white man’s walking and talking stupidity in action. It must be abandoned.
This failed political maneuver that is the language that makes the International community Act is not working for Kenyans. Its increasing desperation, radicalization and terrorism.
This is the biggest failure by all the political players in Kenya since 1963.
Killing of Kenyans and death should not be a political tool.Eliminate this stupidity.
Mbaya ni mbaya.
