Police in Murang’a are holding two suspects in connection with an incident in which a man was brutally sodomized by a gang of men.
The 41-year-old victim was on Tuesday evening rushed to a Murang’a hospital in serious condition after he was sodomized by four young men.
The man was walking home after a drinking spree at Kahethu shopping centre in Murang’a when he was approached and captured by four men at around 1:00 am.
The suspects dragged him to a secluded area before they wrestled him to the ground and did the despicable act in turns, according to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
They later fled and left the victim lying on the ground helpless before he was found and rushed to the hospital for medical attention.
Following the beastly incident, two suspects named Bernard Kamande (25), and Erick Kimani (21) were positively identified by the victim and arrested. Police are in pursuit of the rest of the suspects.
The incident has left villagers of Githiagara in Kugumo, Murang’a county in shock.

The two arrested so far have foreign names; “Bernard” and “Erick.” These two strange names are not traditionally “Gikuyu names.”
An authentic and typical Gikuyu person does not:
1, Have a foreign name
2. Speak a foreign colonial language at home with family members or friends.
3. Respect alien foreign cultural practices such as celebrating one’s birthday, participating sexually with a member of the same sex, or observing birth days of other foreign religious people.
4. Belong to an alien religion.
No wonder Bernard and Erick were celebrating a foreign sexual ritual of having “same sex” partners.
