A new report by the Public Service Ministry has revealed the ethnic make-up of senior government positions.

The report sent to Parliament shows that Kikuyus hold the highest number of top State jobs followed by Kalenjins, Luos, Luhyas, and Kambas in that order.

Members of the Kikuyu community lead the pack, holding 120 out of the 416 senior government positions, representing 29 percent.

Kalenjins are second with 45, followed by Luos (41), Luyhas (33), Kambas (27), Merus (27), and Kisiis (22). Others are Maasai (19), Mijikenda (10), Taita (8), Turkana (7), Boran (7) and Embu (6).

The rest of the positions are held by the following groups; Kenyan Asian (1), Gabra (3), Degodia (1), Kenyan Arabs (2), Kuria (3), Mbeere (2), Ogaden (1), Orma (2), Pokot (3), Samburu (1), Shirazi (1), Teso (4), and Tharaka (1).

“The government endeavors to adhere to the policy on regional balancing and affirmative action during recruitment and promotion of its staff while cognizant of the need to maintain professionalism and meritocracy in order to match between job requirements and competencies,” said Public Service CS Prof. Margaret Kobia.

The 180 heads and CEOs of State corporations are distributed as follows, Kikuyu (36), Kalenjin (35), Luo (26), Luhya (18), Meru (13), and Kamba (10).

  1. The Kenyan government is a…
The Kenyan government is a demonic cult that turns people into thieves and murderers.

These statistics are for recruiting new thieves and murderers.

We want REFEREDUM FOR FREEDOM, we want secession.

Twajua Kenya ina mataifa madogo 45 sasa.

Kuna mataifa madogo 18 yanayoitwa “Abaluhya.”

    • Kundos Uhuru! Ruto is sleep…
Kundos Uhuru! Ruto is sleep and still getting paid for nada? Ruto has stolen enough ; he does not need to work for the people! He only works for himself!

  4. What did you expect…
What did you expect tribalism theft and corruption will outlive Kenyans generations to come. These three vices thrive despite Corona ,locusts, drought or even Latina.Do not expect the next president to be any different Tribalism is in our DNA much as this “born city “try to pretend with shieng and intermarriage when push comes to shove most people will vote for their tribe and expect to be rewarded through Plum jobs and bribing judges as is happening today.

    • This one always whine like a…
This one always whine like a she goat with a fainty voice! @ guest – sorry dude, you are just a very good example of a hungry hyena that never gets enough! And why don’t get enough, your tunnel vision keeps you from scouting for opportunities!

And you will never get enough because your state of mind is always working against its psychic! I even think your mother is very ashamed of having you! And don’t tell me to leave your mother out of this because she brought you here on earth hoping you would turn out well structured in your brains! So, she is the totality if you and vise versa!

She just wonders whatever happened to her child! Please mama don’t cry over any spilt water or better milk! It is what it is!!! For lack of something better to say about your lost kid!

  5. That is why our country is…
That is why our country is economically poor because of too much kikuyus corrupt pple being most offices.

NB:But not all them are corrupt though.

    • @isaac – those offices would…
@isaac – those offices would have been terribly worse had they been occupied by your people that you are even ashamed to name here!

Do you remember during the Moi’s era? We had a bunch of stupid kalenjin in every office where they destroyed every system Jomo had established? They even destroyed the beauty of the city of Nairobi! And how low can you go if you can’t keep your house in order? I have even been there are huge roaches in Ruto’s house! Wacha ushagu!!

Kibaki came in and rebuild everything from below the ground up! He had to get some well educated Kikuyus to help him get things together and moving again.

When a Kikuyu steals, he still thinks about the guy next to him! A kikuyu always think in terms of community; they do not like having a begging neighbor next to them! They will push you until you make something for yourself.

When you guys steal (look at Ruto for example who stole all the money for Kimwerer and Arrow dams) you steal everything to include the food the one day old baby is supposed to eat! You start competing with yourself because you don’t want any one else to have anything! That is why you rarely move ahead!

On a softer side, kikuyus are more in number that your folks (whoever they are since you are ashamed of calling them by name)! So stop whining and learn to work hard than a kikuyu and you should be alright!

This tribal BS need to stop or else Kenya is going down. The jobs should be shared equally among all tribes.

  7. Who is truly surprised here?…
Who is truly surprised here? It’s what we’ve Always known & this didn’t start today! It started with Jomo Kenyatta

  8. This new report by the…
This new report by the Public Service Ministry should not just show more Kikuyus hold public service jobs but should also show more Kikuyus are found in the mortuary and all other areas because their population is higher. Those who give statistics must not do so selectively otherwise their statistics are misleading and just useless propaganda.
If that’s your job, do a good job.
Kenyans are aware that propagandalist and fake news channels exist that tell lies to achieve a certain goal. These people are being revealed daily.
Give us the population make up of all these groups and compare that with the jobs they hold so your statistics can make sense.
Otherwise keep your half-baked propaganda to yourselves until your story is complete!!

  9. Isaac its seems u may be…
Isaac its seems u may be having difficulty with the English language so before u start ur insult on Kikuyu’s go back to School. GG if u have a problem with Jomo Kenyatta u know where he is buried n if u not aware will draw u a map so u can take ur bullshit there. Kenyans we keep blaming Uhuru for corruption, was Moi any better, do u think Raila, Ruto, Gideon or all this idiots currently trying to be in power have any solution to Kenyan problems. Kikuyu people r not the problem, tribalistic idiots r the problem n unless we grow up n start electing leaders according to what they have done for the community n not they intend to do for the community Kenya problems will always follow leader after leader. And just incase u forgot the Kikuyu tribe is the largest tribe in Kenya thus the reason we r everwhere n if u think am joking go to Turukana n the first store u come across will have a Kikuyu in it. Now for those who call Kikuyu people crooks, thank u as we steal cause we r good at it, just look at Waiguru she is still free, n also we r good in Business thats why u elect us n that path will keep on going. Damn it feels good to be a Kikuyu n happy to have friends from all tribes in Kenya.

    • There is this false…
There is this false narrative that Kikuyus are good in business. How come they only excel in nations with shady shady dealings? I do not see them outshining anyone in the US or Britain. They only excel in Kenya…eeeeh? Why?

    • At WaxWisecounsel,

      At WaxWisecounsel,

It’s time to stop calling the black nation niggars and first know that we know who you are- A Moabite.
Watch your kind on this video on YouTube to know who you are. Title of the video: ” Sensitive Moabite Couple Ripped Apart With the Harsh Truth!!”
This will force you to look within and humble yourself while you are in Black nation’s space. GOOD LUCK!!

Here is a Wuhan China idiot talking about words he does now the meaning! By the way, nepotism was state by Mao Tse Tung and it is the way of life in China!

@Maitu alisema, “It’s a matter of competency not community/ tribe.”

Ndugu Maitu uliyosema si kweli. Kama kazi zingalitolewa kulingana na elimu ya kila taifa dogo, Waluo wangechukua asilimia arobaini (40%) ya kazi nchini.

  11. Not all kikuyus are plagued…
Not all kikuyus are plagued by nepotism, tribalism and corruption. Those who are wanamalizia pabaya sana. I meet some of them in Diaspora and wonder what the heck they are doing struggling out there yet the only have to speak the language back home or bleet some Gikuyu proverbs, prove they are Kikuyu enough, get some backdoor deals and jobs. Those are the same ones who find it hard to survive abroad with Mzungu government policies. These are last minute efforts to Sanitize Uhuru ndio akuwe na “Legacy”. The Gema community has a chance to change the course of the country, being the majority can be a blessing or curse in equal measures. To whom much is given, much is expected. 126 out of 400 State positions to Kikuyus without any Merit, how have they fared? We can trade insults all day but facts are facts. Gema/ Kikuyu have let the country down. No quick fix solutions will work, fairness and some bad habits like tribalism, nepotism and corruption will just have to be cut off. Hakuna shortcut hapo.

  12. This person calling…
This person calling themselves Matthew needs to accept that this is a free forum where all and sundry are free to express their views and that includes those who went to school and learnt to express themselves in a coherent manner and those who went to accompany others in school.Since they lack wisdom and words would rather attack the messenger because they do not like the message.Go climb a tree Uhuru is corrupt what will these greedy Kyuks do if Baba becomes president remember the Moi era that is where we are headed you and your kind have eaten enough and yes the country can and will be run without your tribe in power.
