President Kenyatta is on Wednesday expected to deliver a speech at the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, United States.

During the address, the President will lobby for more support for the upcoming Blue Economy conference in Nairobi in November.

On the sidelines of the New York Summit, Kenyatta will also hold bilateral talks with various leaders and promote Kenya as an investment hub.

US President Donald Trump will be among the first speakers at the Assembly, attended by more than 150 Heads of State and Government.

The UN General Assembly will on Monday hold a high-level plenary meeting on global peace in honor of the centenary of the birth of late South Africa iconic President Nelson Mandela, known as the Nelson Mandela Peace Summit.
