Revealed: President Uhuru's Strategy to Neutralize Raila's 'Swearing in'

A leaked document has revealed how President Kenyatta,’s Jubilee Party intends to neutralize National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Odinga’s swearing in ceremony slated for December 12th.

Sunday Standard reports that the ruling party plans to remain silent and not interfere with the planned inauguration of the opposition leader, on grounds that doing so will deny Odinga relevance. The document argues that disrupting the occasion would give him political points against the government.

“There are many presidents of many associations in Kenya – including the children’s parliament, Team Mafisi, boy child, etc. There is nothing wrong with Raila swearing himself as President of an association,” says the plan which was crafted on Wednesday at the Jubilee Party headquarters.

More than 30 MPs, a number of governors and Jubilee political strategists are said to have been involved in coming up with the plan during a closed-door meeting whose proposals were presented to President Uhuru Kenyatta and deputy president William Ruto.

The plan also includes rolling out a fierce social media machinery to downplay and mock Odinga’s installation.

“Social media should design a graphic to poke fun at Raila swearing-in,” says the Jubilee plan.

“We need to note that there are many signs that Kenyans are now moving forward and it is only a few people who are reluctant,” says the strategy.

President Kenyatta has already ruled out possibilities of engaging in any dialogue with the opposition, noting that its time for the country to move forward.

“Kenyans want to see our country moving forward and that is the dialogue we want to participate in. Lakini hii ya kuongea siasa ingoje 2022. Mtaongea na William. Mimi nitakuwa nikienda nyumbani .” (Politics can wait until 2022; you will dialogue with William when I will be leaving office,”) he said on Saturday.

“It is time to work not engaging in talk. I am requesting leaders, whether in government or not, to end politics and unite to work for Kenyans,” he said.

Uhuru, bravo! Sometimes a pregnant silence speaks volumes and is noisier than matusi. I am so proud of you this time around. You have turned the other cheek, and boy, it has worked! Bullies best treatment is to ignore them. Trying to rain on your parade….aibu hawana!

Not everyone was made to rule, some were made to sindikiza wengine, and that my friends, is Raila. Yeye ni msindikizi… evidenced by the number of times he has tried this elusive seat for him! ASIYE KUBALI KUSHINDWA SI MSHINDANI! Raila is simply misled by those around him who put him in a pedestal and massage his inflated bruised ego. Nenda nyumbani babu and come back to face Ruto in 2022 if you have balls for that!!
