A newly elected Kitui East Member of Parliament is on the spot after being captured on camera calling for the rape of Kitui governor Charity Ngilu.
In the undated video clip, Nimrod Mbithuka Mbai, is captured calling for the rape of the former Lands Cabinet Secretary, who he accuses of making similar calls.
Mbai, clinched the MP seat on President Uhuru’s Jubilee Party ticket, claims that the governor also called for the rape of women found dressed in Jubilee t-shirts in the region.
“… Niliskia ata wakisema, kijana akionekana na t-shirt ya Jubilee itolewe, mama akionekana amevaa t-shirt ya Jubilee arapiwe. Kwani Ngilu yeye mwenyewe hawezi rapewi?” Mbai says in part of his speech to a gathering.
The crowd he was addressing is heard cheering and laughing before the MP proceeds to demand an apology from Ngilu, failure to which, the same action (rape) will be carried on her should she be spotted wearing the t-shirt of a different party (from Jubilee).
Before he was elected to the National Assembly ,Mr Mbai was the Chief Officer in charge of Agriculture in Machakos County.
He is also a former Administration police officer who was assigned to guard former Cabinet Minister Francis Nyenze’-the currently Kitui West MP.
Mr. MP, your utterances are…
Mr. MP, your utterances are beneath the dignity of the office that you hold and please try to show some maturity and respect for Madam Gov. Ngilu.
This thug should be recalled…
This thug should be recalled by his own people. He must not have women in his life including his mother that he respects. I don’t care for Ngilu but this is no way to treat 50% of our population. Useless idiot.
