NASA Asks Britain to Intervene over 'Vote Rigging Attempts' By Jubilee

National Super Alliance (NASA) has formally petitioned the British government to intervene in the forthcoming Kenya elections over claims the government has been planning to rig the upcoming elections in favor of President Uhuru Kenyatta

In a letter addressed to the British High Commissioner Nic Hailey, NASA raises concerns over claims that the government is using the armed forces to manipulate next month’s polls.

“We write to you as a genuine friend of Kenya and ask you to initiate dialogue with the Government of Kenya, urging them to desist from this misuse of our security agencies and stop further poisoning the electoral environment,” NASA’s letter to the embassy reads.

“A similar exercise took place in the run-up to 2013 elections. We are concerned about the mandate and instructions given to these officers,” the letter says

NASA’a letter is copied to the Chairman of Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission Wafula Chebukati, Attorney General Githu Muigai, Chief of Defence Forces Samson Mwathethe, National Intelligence Service (NIS) Director General Philip Kameru, Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet, Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR) chair Kagwiria Mbogori and all accredited election observer groups.

President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto have denied allegations of using the Military during elections, with acting Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i offering to meet NASA and explain the security deployment.

While meeting the African Union election 0observer team led by AU Commission chairman Moussa Faki and AU’s chief election observer Thabo Mbeki, President Uhuru said that the Opposition’s attack on those charged to oversee security during the elections was a clear indication of their intention to cause chaos.

KDF Spokesman Col Joseph Awouth rubbished claims that the Military was being involved in election matters, sentiments echoed by Interior Principal Secretary Karanja Kibicho. “Our code of conduct is clear that the military is very apolitical. We do not take any sides in politics as soldiers. Whoever claims that should provide evidence.” He said.

“I wish NASA could provide evidence that so and so has been deployed as a returning officer in this or that place and if that happens I will resign. But as for now, those remain just claims,” Kibicho said.

After nearly 54 years as a self-governing independent Republic, how can this Luo mad man cry to Britain to intervene in a crime that hasn’t occurred?? Rigging of election can’t happen 3 weeks before any vote is cast. So, does this stupidly ignorant self-serving mad man, who has brought so much agony and bloodshed to our otherwise peaceful country, expect the Queen of England or PM of Britain to come to Kenya with a big colonial era stick to spank President Uhuru and DP Ruto because their clown went to them crying because of his delusional nightmares solely in his in his evil mind due to uncontrollable fears of losing yet another presidential election?? Come on!! What are the goons surrounding him — the likes of Orengo, Anyang Nyongo and all other blind worshippers and boot leakers doing to let this crazy evil man belittle our government and self-governing peaceful people so shamelessly? This stupid and cowardly plea for intervention will cost him thousands if not millions of votes…. Then, as usual, he will once again cry that his victory was stolen; and his brain dead worshippers will join in a futile chorus!!!

    • Well, RAO errs big time…
Well, RAO errs big time every time he appeals to the west to intervene in Kenya’s affairs, a clear indicator he could literally sell the country to Washington and London once he assumes office which, by the way, he might. Like you, I really hate this aspect about him. However, there’s no point in hurling insults at the man, calling him a mad man. I don’t think he’s of unsound mind otherwise he wouldn’t have qualified to run. Out of the many Mwakilishi commenters, you are one of the few that are level-headed and I didn’t expect you to spew what is clearly propaganda from Chupilee. His fails and weaknesses notwithstanding, RAO has generally been a great statesman for the country. May the most deserving candidate carry the day come 8/8/17!

Huyu Raila is out of mind I think presidency is a do or die for him ..but what he forgot is that he is not winning yet to worry so much of results..how about the Jubliee beats him hands down…and thts the case …he is packing for nothing b4 hr looses to Uhuru.

  4. A man who is always paranoid…
A man who is always paranoid and does or says things completely outside the realm of reality is by definition a mad man! Raila’s often divisive rhetoric based on delusional thinking which are not backed by any facts of a normal person clearly qualify as a crazy mad man. Throughout history there has been many mad men who have run and won the highest office in their countries. Such achievement by itself doesn’t qualify one as being of sound mind. Personally, I don’t consider someone who cries every time he loses an election that “my victory was stolen” to be of sound mind. A real normal leader of sound mind would have learnt a lesson the first time in 2007; not to have same cries in 2013 when he was the PM and Co-Principal in the Grand Coalition government in which he haws in charge of coordinating all functions of the government including nominating IEBC Commissioners and overseeing electoral process. Who else in the world has ever appointed electoral commissioners and was in charge of security forces for 5 years only for him to turn around and accuse his subordinates of rigging votes in favor of his opponent who was no longer in government? Raila may not be clinically a mad man, but he sure acts and speaks like one more often than not!! And, FYI, calling a spade a spade is not an insult — sometimes bitter truth hurts!

  5. I am not surprised. I learnt…
I am not surprised. I learnt Raila was an idiot empty headed man along time ago.He is also surrounded by likes of the MPig for Laikipia North. How do you chase people away from their properties in Laikipia who have actually made the area more prosperous and much better livable than ever before. This is the same thing Ojinga was preaching in Kajiado the other day.
These people must be rejected totally at the ballot box on 8/8/2017.
We don’t want stupidity to lead Kenya.
