NASA Supporters in the US Welcome Raila's 'Swearing-in'

A section of National Super Alliance (NASA) living in the United States have thrown their weight behind Raila’s planned ‘swearing in’, saying it is “necessary and long overdue.”

On Friday, the opposition outfit released a programme that will be used on December 12th, the day when the opposition chief will take Oath of Office as people’s president.

“We will open with a national anthem followed by prayers led by various religious leaders. Then there will be a formal declaration of the congregation gathered. The fourth item will be adoption of the agenda. The fifth item will be the inauguration of the leadership and the sixth will be the address by leaders of the assembly,” said Orange Democratic Movement Executive Director Oduor Ong’wen.

Activist Lister Nyaringo, a leader of Nasa supporters caucus in the US has welcomed Odinga’s installation, noting that he won the annulled August 8th election.

Nyaringo further threatened to take the police to the International Criminal Court (ICC) over killings of innocent and unarmed opposition supporters.

“Raila’s swearing in is necessary and long overdue. We fully endorse it as US residents. He won August elections and the whole world saw that.”

“As civil activist, we may move to ICC to sue police over the unnecessary shooting of innocent protesters. The Tuesday’s ceremony has our full blessings,” he wrote on his official Facebook account.

He further lashed out at Western powers and the US over their stand on Kenya’s political crisis and their silence on electoral injustice s.

“Double standards from Western powers especially the US on the Kenyan political crisis is baffling! It’s high time the global watchdog coiled its tail on other countries affairs! Giving a cold shoulder on ELECTION FRAUD makes the US look as an aggressor in North Korea!”

Can this ninconpoop go and lush out at US while in Kenya. This is the height of hypocrisy, promoting lawlessness in your country of birth while sitting pretty and safe in the country you criticize. If you like the idea so much, why not grow a pair and grace the event with your presence?

Of course we welcome it.It’s about time and its the RIGHT thing to do.

Threats of Armageddon by foreign envoys should stop.

  3. Ahh, nasarites and their…
Ahh, nasarites and their misplaced fury again!

So let’s make it clear to those claiming there was a winner in the 8th elections. If the elections had not been annulled the record clearly shows the winner was UK & Ruto. Any other claim is braggadocio & mushene. The elections we’re however annulled (rather stolen from UK). So in effect no one won on the 8th. So all that balderdash about some baby man winning on the 8th is plain spin and whooping BS.

And this misplaced fury at foreign governments and institutions is so insidious. The dishonesty displayed by nasarites is so shameful. They pretend to speak for the downtrodden, while infact they ride roughshod over their backs in their quest for power. Who doesn’t know how Kony has used human sacrifice to get to where he is now.

You so called nasarites in the US, your cause is unjust and self serving. So quit whining and join the rest of us in forging the country ahead. The day you shall be inclusive, then you shall win fairly. Don’t manufacture your own facts, but you are welcome to give your opinions. You can Politic as you want, but quit the spin! Asi!

  7. I want to thank all Kenyans…
I want to thank all Kenyans who subscribe to Jubilee, Supporters of a Peaceful Kenya; who celebrated Jubilee win with Humility.
That said, It should be absolutly clear to all NRM supporters, that Jubilee commands % 75 of support in the Diaspora. No Kenyan of sane Mind, especially from the USA; would support the swearing in of Raila Odinga or anyone else for President against the constitution. Kenya’s Democracy as enshrined in our progressive constitution” Clearly stipulates how a President shall assume office.. Common sense which apears to have been missed by those calling for Raila to swear himself up; Informs that every Country can only have one President at a time. That some looser claiming to be representing the diaspora alluded to diaspora support for extra-constitutional swearing in; should be dismissed with the contempt it deserves..
