Police in Nairobi have launched a manhunt for a driver who was videotaped assaulting a traffic police officer before speeding off.
In the video taken on Thursday morning, the driver is seen fighting with a traffic cop inside a Nissan March car before they are separated by pedestrians.
The pedestrians attempt to deal with the driver after pulling the officer out of the vehicle, but he accelerates and leaves the scene.

Speaking to Citizen Digital, Nairobi traffic police commander Joshua Omukata said the driver had caused an accident in Karen before fleeing.
This prompted traffic officers to alert their colleagues to be on the lookout of the vehicle.
Traffic officers along Ngong Road spotted and flagged down the car but drama ensued after one of the cops entered the car of registration number KCT 730Q.
Omukata said the driver will be arrested and charged in court with various offenses.
