A time comes when we as a people must accept that our ways are traumatizing and retrogressive: especially this habit of fighting over a corpse, while we refused to take any action while the person lived. The late made a decision to trust Obadiah, made a grown up decision to love, lay, and have a family with the very Obadiah that her family has now maligned all over – totally ignoring the children being denied a father. Where is the evidence? Inflicting wounds that may never heal, mob justice for her. No evidence so far provided against the man but feelings from outsiders. Without an iota of evidence, he killed his wife? How now? This is very common in Kenya…but to move the madness to the US is incomprehensible. Why didn’t the late partner ever leave this ‘Criminal’ in a land where a woman has ‘more power’, with DV shelters and endless resources? Heck, her family is here in the US!!! Kenya’s online detectives fueled by their own frustrations (this has to be the reason they are so angered), have proved beyond a reasonable doubt that she was abused. Then we have the self appointed “community leaders” running around with ‘virtual prayers’ as if they have a monopoly over access to God. Again; Mr. Obadiah Kinara is a widower, a Kenyan, a grieving man who needs compassion. Unless there is evidence that he indeed committed a crime in the death of his partner, these women and men who believe they have more access to God than the rest of us need to find themselves hobbies and focus on the numerous real problems affecting Kenya/ans. If indeed the God that you pray to exists, and that God is as just as the books you claim s/he wrote say, you all are punished! You do not kick a man when he is down and don’t need the bible to know this. He too needs compassion. I am not related to him; but no woman nor man, has a right to slander him without evidence.
