Jambojet has reported that one of its aircraft suffered damage during routine overnight maintenance.
The incident occurred while the aircraft was parked, resulting in it unexpectedly rolling off the ramp and colliding with a pole, which inflicted damage to the nose of the aircraft. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among the maintenance personnel. Jambojet has emphasized its commitment to safety in a statement regarding the incident.
“We wish to report that no injuries occurred to our staff during this incident,” the airline affirms.
The company is currently collaborating with relevant authorities to determine the cause of the occurrence and to implement measures that will prevent similar incidents in the future. Following the damage sustained, the aircraft has been temporarily grounded, pending necessary clearance for repairs.
Jambojet acknowledges that the incident would lead to some disruptions in flight operations and communicates that affected passengers would be contacted directly. In light of the situation, Jambojet has expressed apologies for the inconvenience caused and reaffirms its dedication to safety standards.
