Roots Party presidential candidate George Wajackoyah has visited some marijuana farms during his ongoing tour of the United States.
His spokesperson Wilson Muirani, alias Jaymo Ule Msee, shared photos of Wajackoyah touring cannabis plantations and restaurants while interacting with potential marijuana investors.
Wajackoyah, who has pledged to legalize marijuana if elected president in the August 9th general elections, is seen looking at some of the various marijuana strains grown for medicinal and recreational purposes in the US.
“Today the fifth visited cannabis plantations and restaurants in the US where he has been invited by Cannabis investors in the US,” Jaymo said in a statement.
Wajackoyah, 62, claims the revenue generated from cultivating and exporting marijuana has the potential to clear Kenya’s escalating public debt which currently stands at over Sh8 trillion.
“If we can grow Bangi in Nyeri alone, each Kenyan could get a dividend cheque of Sh200,000 every year from the sale of Bangi. If we grew Bangi in Nyeri alone, we would build 2 expressways in each county in Kenya,” Wajackoya said during the launch of his manifesto last month.
“If we grew bangi in Nyeri alone, Kenya will have 10 percent of IMF’s total cash reserves. In short we will never have to borrow a single coin in future.”
He also said that under his presidency, Kenya will venture into the lucrative anti-venom market by farming poisonous snakes and extracting toxins from them that will enable the country to locally manufacture antidotes for export.
“If we did snake farming in Kenya, each venomous snake farmer will earn an average of $6,000 or Sh600,000 per vial of anti-venom. For example, a cobra farmer will make $6,300 from a vial of cobra anti-venom. If we harvest Black mamba anti-venom a Kenyan farmer will make $5,300 per vial,” he added.
And “Wajinga waliWao”…

I support Wajackoyah in…
I support Wajackoyah in snake farming and cannabis farming for commercial purposes.
AS for the snake farming come to Kitui, all we have to do is collect all kinds of snakes, harness them and simply extract venom and process for export and domestic use. We have HEAD start here Ladies and Gentlemen. This mans manifesto could transform Kenya form a needy state to 1st world class ECONOMY. Think about that!
Wishful thinking son! Yes,…
Wishful thinking son! Yes, the venom sells, but not for the prices you quote. Do free google research or make a quick visit to KEMRI kenya. They have all data available for you and ask them why they haven’t amassed the billions kshs despite having so many snake farms in Kenya?

Snake farming why ?most…
Snake farming why ?most normal human beings fear snakes and snakes are not a virus they are a problem in certain parts of the world only and you only hear of them biting people who are encroaching on their environment.Snake bites are a developed country problem .Not enough people die or should I say snakes are biting the wrong people. This alleged “over-degreed” politician must be aware that vaccines are developed for the rich who can aid in the financing that is why to this day there is no vaccine for Ebola while the vaccine for corona was developed within a year when Americans and the west started dying.Poor folk consume marijuana it is not that there is a ready and willing market to consume the drug. Also the medicinal benefits of this drug are not that great in that it affects people differently. Are you trying to finish the youth in Kenya certain parts of the country are already suffering due to the effects of alcoholism brought on by cheap liquor they do not need another reason to be walking around like zombies
Here in Kenya we’ve been…
Here in Kenya we’ve been blowing weed for as long as we can remember! The weed is readily available in every corner of the street @ Kshs.50.00/= per role! Wajackoya had and has nothing to do with it. Don’t blame him for what’s already ingrained in every community!

Big pharma, the prison…
Big pharma, the prison industry and the police all have a vested interest in the status quo. That said many states have ignored that nonsense and legalized the sale. My home state with a population 1/10 that of Kenya’s collected over $400 million in taxes last year in an industry employing over 35k people. You were saying…..
Why is Jamaica not a rich…
Why is Jamaica not a rich nation?
We do not have a significant…
We do not have a significant problem with bangi in the country today. Why would we construct a policy that would actually create such a bangi problem. The idea that if only we grow 100thousand acres of bangi then we will pay off our national debt is a lie.The reality is if we do as wajakoya wants and create a bangi culture in the country, we will not have high revenues from it, rather we will have high numbers of bangi drug addicts and higher numbers of bangi associated mental health problems in the population. The church should continue to fight back against this sinister deception.
Trust me its very lucrative…
Trust me its very lucrative. Remember the sale is not yet legal federally.
