Nairobi Senator Sakaja Blames President Uhuru for His Woes

Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja has blamed President Kenyatta for his woes, claiming that he is out to frustrate his bid for Nairobi governor.

Sakaja, the UDA party candidate for Nairobi governor, claims that Kenyatta coerced the Commission for University Education (CUE) to revoke the recognition of his Bachelor of Science in Management degree from Team University in Uganda.

“The purported revocation of my credentials by the Commission for University Education (CUE) chairman is null and void, and politically instigated. The chairman, Prof Chacha Nyaigotti Chacha, has been coerced and intimidated by President Uhuru Kenyatta to illegally revoke recognition of accreditation that has been properly issued,” Sakaja said in a statement on Wednesday.

“I presented my qualifications to the CUE for recognition. The commission conducted due diligence by first writing to their counterpart in Uganda, National Council for Higher Education, which in turn wrote to the university. The commission confirmed the authenticity of the qualification from Team University through the National Council for Higher Education and thus recognized my qualifications.”

He alleged that President Kenyatta and the entire State machinery have gone on an intimidation spree against institutions locally and in Uganda to revoke the recognition of his qualifications in a bid to stop him from being the governor of Nairobi.

“They have sent officials from the Kenyan High Commission in Uganda to intimidate Team University staff as well as that country’s National Council for Higher Education. The university has remained firm and refused to be intimidated.”

“The desperate attempts by President Kenyatta and the so-called Deep State will fall on the sword of justice,” he added.

The senator maintained that he has the requisite qualifications to vie for the position of governor of Nairobi and will be on the ballot on August 9th.

“To President Kenyatta I say: Let the people decide. Not even the threats to arrest me will dim our resolve to serve the people of Nairobi. The people of Nairobi have resoundingly rejected your project and are looking forward to electing their own. I remain committed and confident that a new dawn for our capital is beckoning, a city of order and dignity; hope and opportunity for all. We shall not be cowed. We will prevail,” he concluded.

Sakaja is his own enemy in the whole saga because he has not shown how he got the degree from Team University. Blaming Uhuru does not make Sakaja’s purported degree legitimate. He must be properly investigated to find out the truth behind his education. How come he has not produced the original certificate of the degree he is talking about?

Mr. Sakaja what part is the president playing in you not attending a university. I hope you did not want him to attend college on your behalf. Nairobi is a cosmopolitan city and an academic dwarfs cannot be able to manage it. Education plays a big role in your perception, and how to deal with situation that affect population and economy. Reflect on Mr. Sonko’s mess. A leader who thought being a thug might help run the city. Nairobi city is the face of the republic of Kenya.

Tell this boy called Sakaja that Uhuru did not hold him from holding a pen and a book to study like real men do. I am sick a tired of these political losers who were build by Uhuru and now they think they are the big boys in town. Who are you Sakaja? I will give you a Mwiko slap in your bearded face! Stop it; will you??

Sakaja stop following Ruto blindly because he will mislead you like he has done to many. That’s why Kenyans will not vote for Ruto. And you can now see how Rigathi is getting called a Mwizi in Kiambu because he is now associating with a Ruto the big Mwizi. Does any body question what Ruto has stolen?

Actually I have been told Rigathi is as bad as Ruto in stealing if not worse. My advise to you Sakaja is to stop fighting for a degree you know you don’t have, go back to school and get a degree and then pursue the desires of your heart.

That kind of man cannot be trusted to run for political office. We are talking of integrity here, and honesty is a grand part of integrity.
Let’s give amnesty to those who are in the same predicament, so long as they come forward before august elections, confess their “sins”, pay restitution and promise to complete their education without 4 years or go to jail for four years. And if you try to out smart the system by toughening it out, hoping that you would not be caught, you are in double jeopardy…
