Nairobi Court Summons Ndichu Twins to Face Assault Charges

A Nairobi court has summoned twin brothers Eddy and Paul Ndichu to face assault charges.

This comes after the two failed to appear before Kibera law court to take a plea in a case in which they are accused of assault and malicious damage to property.

Their lawyer Njenga Nyenge told the court that his clients were unable to attend court as they are currently in the United States and that one of them has contracted Covid-19.

“My clients are not present in court today as they are in the USA and were unable to travel back to face the charges as one of them has Covid-19,” Nyenge told the court as quoted by Capital News.

The lawyer pleaded for a later date for the plea taking to give the accused persons time to fly back home.

The twins are facing charges of assault and causing bodily harm contrary to section 251 of the Penal Code Chapter 63.

It is alleged that on the night of October 16th and 17th, 2021 at Emara Ole Sereni Hotel in Lang’ata, Nairobi Paul and Eddie assaulted Murgor sisters Stephanie (25) and Cheryl (23) and caused them bodily harm.

In the second count, the two are accused of willingly and unlawfully damaging a vehicle belonging to Samuel Dennis on the night of October 16th and 17th, 2021 at the same hotel.

Can we please the state they are stying at here in USA? So that we can I for the law enforcement about them. They have to be back to kenya to face the law.

  2. I’m pretty sure they are not…
I’m pretty sure they are not conjoined twins. Therefore, as the judge, I would want to know why the twin who did not have COVID didn’t show up, then I’d double his sentence/fine. Nonsense!

  3. A CANNING(while naked) law…
A CANNING(while naked) law should be enacted so that such suspected offenders are speedily tried and dealt with the same day after the last appeal.Alternatively the the likes of two tūnūgūs should be handed to the public or victim’s families to discipline them.
