2020 KCPE Results Released: List of Top 10 Best-Performing Candidates Countrywide

Education Cabinet Secretary Prof. George Magoha on Thursday officially released the results of the 2020 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examination.

Mumo Faith Kawee of Kari Mwailu Primary School in Makueni was named the top-performing candidate with 433 marks out of the possible 500 followed by Wesonga Yvette from Nanzala Chogoria Girls (432 marks) and Muriithi Angel Gakenia from Maseno Girls Boarding (432 marks).

Prof. Magoha commended the 2020 candidates for registering improved performance despite writing their test during the COVID-19 pandemic, which disrupted learning for several months.
