Nigerian Drug Lord Kelvin Adeshina Arrested in Nairobi, Deported for the Second Time

A Nigerian drug lord has been arrested and deported from Kenya for the second time after mysteriously returning into the country.

Kelvin Adeshina Akinjiola was arrested in Nairobi last week before being deported to Nigeria on Saturday.

The Department of Immigration says it’s not clear how Akinjiola managed to return to Kenya after he was bundled out last year.

The foreigner was deported on July 10th, 2018 on Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i order.

Akinjiola was reportedly arrested upon arrival at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, Nigeria.

“He was deported on Saturday and arrested upon arrival in Lagos, Nigeria,” the Director of Immigration Alexandra Mutesi told the Sunday Nation

The Sunday Nation reports that a former powerful police commander unsuccessfully attempted to secure Akinjiola’s release.

Akinjiola is reported to be a popular figure in most of the high-end entertainment joints in Nairobi and is often spotted hanging out with influential individuals.

He also walks around with armed guards and openly dishes out cash.

  1. If a criminal drug barron is…
If a criminal drug barron is caught flaunting our immigration laws, he should be tried, convicted and made to serve a prison term before being returned to his country of origin. But in Kenya, this is nearly impossible because our policemen are for sale, prosecutors are for sale, judges are for sale and the dude is rich! Welcome to banana republic where money is our god, beer, liquor and cocktails- our holy spirit.

  2. Kenya has become a revolving…
Kenya has become a revolving door for Nigerian criminals. In fact, Kenya is safe haven or an oasis for all criminals. Sky is the limit for what criminals can be able to do in Kenya. I think they need to have a yearly achievement award for the best criminal achiever with the first award going to the former Deputy Police Commissioner in charge of security Mr. Waiganjo. Nigerians have made Kenya a laughing stock. Down With country of Nigeria!!! Down with corrupt Kenyan officials!!!, Long Live Kenya!!!

  3. Doesn’t Kenya have jails for…
Doesn’t Kenya have jails for criminals like this? He needs to rot there, before being deported dead or alive

  4. What a country. If a drug…
What a country. If a drug lord is arrested after entering the country illegally he should be tried and jailed for the maximum allowed by the court, not escorted out to the airport. The thug is walking around the city with armed guards. What a country. Try doing that in New York city or any other country with responsible police force. Only in a corrupt country like Kenya can you walk around bribing the police and immigration officials. This drug lord will be back in the country very soon.

  5. Mwororo is spot on! Justice…
Mwororo is spot on! Justice in this land has been perverted & there’s nothing positive to look forward to!I believe lack of justice is the alternative route to take if we don’t want a revolution to transform this country!

  6. And then we all act shocked…
And then we all act shocked as if we don’t know the people we elected, as if we didn’t know this would be the outcome. As if this sorta impunity is anything new. Kewndeni huko! Nkt
