Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana Announces His Exit from Wiper Party, Blames Kalonzo

Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana has announced that he has ditched Wiper party.

Prof. Kibwana says he cannot stay in an “abusive marriage” and has asked Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka to remove him as the party’s Chairman.

“You cannot call your party Wiper Democratic then kill the democracy in it. If you don’t let people questions, what do you imply?” poses Kibwana.

He also accuses Musyoka of using his juniors and Members of the County Assembly (MCAs) to fight and frustrate his work.

“We know he has been using some junior Wiper politicians to frustrate me. You remember the other day, he even used former MCAs to insult me at a funeral in my home county,” says Kibwana.

He also claims that Musyoka has failed to champion for the welfare of his people despite being the region’s kingpin.

Governor Kibwana says this is the reason why he has teamed up with his counterparts Charity Ngilu (Kitui) and Alfred Mutua (Machakos).

“What we have with Governor Alfred Mutua and Governor Ngilu is not political. This is only focused on the economy. We want to champion for the development of the three counties in order to uplift our counties.”

Professors do not complain unless they feel like a fish out of water. Governor you have the goodwill of the people, development record to prove and the brains to back it why play second fiddle to Steep? Steep too has been there done that and has the scars to prove it. Leadership is the supreme of human needs and no one gets to be a leader without a fight of some sort. Even in biblical times no kings ever relinquished their power even to their kin. Lesson 1 : Power and leadership are never given, it is taken and you do not take power by abdicating.
Lesson 2: Power and leadership are never shared only governance may be shared. So teaming up with other competitors only complicates your slim chances to ascend to power beyond Makueni supremacy.

This is a blessing in disguise for Kibwana. Now you can run for President without being tied to a tribe. Build your brand and take us out of the tribal morass we have been engulfed in.

Good observation. Roll your sleeves and get to work because the guy will need lots of help. Last I checked,@Imara was also for him so that makes two and perhaps even more out there. Good luck.
