Miguna Miguna Fires Salvo at Raila, Says He's a Traitor

Deported lawyer Miguna Miguna has launched fresh attacks on Opposition leader Raila Odinga.

In a chain of tweets, the self-declared National Resistance Movement (NRM) general accused Raila of turning National Super Alliance (Nasa) last year’s boycott on products from companies involved in rigging elections into an extortion scheme.

Miguna claims that Raila sent proxies to collect cash from the companies with the promise of deleting them from the boycott list. Miguna mentioned Suna East MP Junet Mohamed as one of the individuals sent by Odinga to collect the money from the companies.

“Immediately after NRMKe was launched and the #RESIST/#BOYCOTT campaign against @SafaricomPLC, Brookside Dairies and Bidco Industries was unveiled, the TRAITOR @RailaOdinga went behind our backs and sent @JunetMohamed to EXTORT money from the companies we were boycotting,” Miguna claims.

Miguna has vowed to continue giving daily doses of “Truth and Facts” about Raila, who he describes as a traitor.

“We are going to publicly expose, shame and fight against all the Kenyan tyrants, despots, cartels, thieves and their surrogates with the best REVOLUTIONARY weapons available against the culture of impunity – TRUTH and FACTS. There will be daily doses until they fall. Viva!” Miguna wrote.

This comes days after Odinga declined to talk about Miguna during an interview with a local television station.

“I want you to spare me that question because you know what I tried to do for Miguna and you know how he’s treated me, the kind of things he’s said about me. Please, I don’t want to talk about Miguna Miguna,” said Odinga.
