NASA Tells Supporters to Boycott Products from Three Companies

The National Resistance Movement (NRM) Parliamentary wing on Friday told supporters to boycott products from three companies.

Speaking after a meeting at the Okoa Kenya offices in Nairobi, the NASA-allied MPs called on supporters to boycott products and services from Safaricom, Bidco and Brookside.

“We will resist the products of these companies because they are beneficiaries of the regime that killed people in this country,” said Suna East MP Junet Mohamed.

In what they termed as the start of economic liberation in the country, the MPs urged supporters to identify alternative products and services within five days.

The opposition outfit has continuously linked giant mobile service provider, Safaricom to cancelled August 8th rigging scheme to the advantage of President Kenyatta, allegations the firm has dismissed as false. At the same time, NASA has accused Brookside, a firm connected to President Uhuru’s family and Bidco, which is linked to retired President Daniel Moi, of funding Jubilee Party.

“Besides frustrating the legitimate democratic dreams and aspirations of Kenyans, these companies have the blood of Kenyans in their hands and systems by providing solid backing for the Jubilee regime and platform for the rigging of elections. These companies provide goods and services which are used to abuse the rights of Kenyans and result in the death of Kenyans. Their goods, services and market proceeds are used to support people who have the blood of Kenyans on their hands,” said Junet Mohamed in a statement.

“Our people are among the most creative and enterprising in the region. We must tap into this tradition. We can manufacture soap and cooking in our backyards and save ourselves from Bidco. We can produce edible oils and support our local farmers to produce oil crops…The end game is that we be the people who will end electoral fraud not only in Kenya but in all of Africa and be the team that will uproot the evil culture of sham elections with pre-determined outcomes…These companies have denied Kenyans their right to elect their leaders in a democratic process,” Junet Mohamed added.

“I have switched off my Safaricom number and from today, if you call me via Safaricom line, I will not pick the call, ” Homa Bay Women Rep Gladys Wanga said.

Today, and with immediate effect, we call on all Kenyans who believe in free, fair and credible elections to boycott products of the following companies:
      1. Safaricom
      2. Brookside Dairies
      3. Bidco Industries.

Besides frustrating the legitimate democratic dreams and aspirations of Kenyans, these companies have the blood of Kenyans in their hands and systems by providing solid backing for the Jubilee regime and platform for the rigging of elections. The rigging of elections has led to death of innocent Kenyans shot dead by police in 2007, 2013 and now 2017.

This is a non starter. Is NASA going to start new companies that will carter for the essential services and products offered by the 3 firms? If you don’t like the products, you should not work there! So, all NASA sympathizers working in these companies must he fired. The political goons making this declaration will continue to use Mpesa, drink brookside milk, and use Bidco cooking oil. So, common mwananchi, don’t be fooled.

The Lords of Poverty bets that their people are so resilient in hardship mass layoffs, that sabotaging the economy, will not matter to them. The negative impact in KRA’s revenues should reflect in devolution and CDF accounts in their strongholds. Parliament must move with speed to enact punitive laws, regarding economic sabotage.

All of a sudden the other principals and notable hardliners have “something urgent” to attend to? while for the last years they were breathing, eating, and sleeping nasa. It is a humbling thing to be the last one to know you are broke and out.

First thing to do if these idiots are serious is to ask all their supporters who are employed by or doing business of any kind with these companies to quit them and then boycott the products. This way you can see how many will comply, otherwise it is just stupid hot air worth nothing. Wanga says she has switched of the phone if st all doon as she leaves the meeting for her comfortable bed and warm food made by Bidco oil products, the Safacom line will be back on.

Orengo should have boycotted IEBC. Hi boycott kifunga macho tu. Extortion is what this charage is and the tumbo kubwas will continue enjoying their “boycott” goods, mwananchia akiumia.

  14. All these half measures are…
All these half measures are contrary to any well thought out plan for future. Followers are people with lives too and cannot follow through every declaration like robots, they need time even to absorb and process the sporadic information from their leaders. This is window dressing and a mirage for liberation. Some of these ideas are sophisticated and hard to follow through due in part to the heterogeneous nature of our society. What options are you giving them people? you withdrew first conjugal rights, then no work, now no certain services and products. Do nasiticens have rights in the eyes of their leaders? what happened to their liberty and basic right to choose? you have hypnotized them to false promises and take their rights on the other hand? You take away and exploit every right they have and in return you only give promises about promises? when will you close the loop and let the people know what you have achieved so far by all you have asked of them? This idea of bringing new things every day is a ruse to hide and run away from past failures.
