National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential candidate Raila Odinga has taken a swipe at Deputy President William Ruto, saying that he suffers from amnesia.
Speaking during an interview Al Jazeera, the former Prime Minister described the nullified presidential election as an injustice, maintaining that he defeated President Uhuru in the August 8th elections and that the numbers were manipulated.
The Orange Democratic Movement leader also applauded the Supreme court’s decision to overturn the poll, saying it was the right thing.
Asked about his thoughts about Deputy President William Ruto’s criticism of him as a person who is unable to win elections and that he was threatening Kenyans with violence, chaos, bloodshed and anarchy; the opposition leader said that the deputy president seemed to be suffering from amnesia. “Ruto basically suffers from amnesia. In 2007 he was with me. He was in the front line fighting against the rigging of the election.” ”Mr Ruto lives in denial. Because he himself witnessed election rigging first hand,” Odinga said.
The former premier also noted that the opposition was disappointed in election observers as they gave the poll a clean bill of health saying it was credible, and even questioned their role in observing elections. He singled out observers like John Mahama, the Ghana’s president, saying that failed to disclose that he had conflict of interests as President Uhuru Kenyatta was his personal friend.
The Nasa flag bearer reassured that if he losses fairly, he would concede and tell his supporters that they lost fairly. He however said that if there would be rigging he would exercise his constitutional right to peacefully demonstrate and picket.

Raila will not be able to…
Raila will not be able to have Kenyans fight each other . In 2008 He was helped by Ruto not Ruto is on the other side and no one no Kenyan will want to die for a politician any more . because the gain is only DEATH and them politicians will be safely at home as we kill each other in the end the dead will be faceless, nameless . e.g we only read of IDPS who are they? what are their names ? what about those who died in Naivasha and Eldoret but the names of Uhuru and Ruto we know and they inherited the outcome of the dead and the displaced. Kenyans have learnt a lesson the hard way . Those who will try to fight in the streets are losers who have already lost

in 2008 I watche LIVE Amanpour interviewing Raila Odinga . Photos of people thrashing others with machetes were brought for him to see and Christina asked him if he was going to ask the people to stop the killings and he said NO because it was those people’s rights which was taken away from them. That is the moment i said to myself this man cannot protect weak Kenyans don’t look at my name but if what am writing makes sense. I have never gained from Kenyatta, Kibaki , Moi or Uhuru rule. I sweat to earn my bread and Butter like many of my tribe. Kikuyus like any other Kenyan who are daughtes and sons of nobody are in the same boat but few sees it that way
