Roysambu MP Waihenya Ndirangu will get to defend his seat on a Jubilee ticket in the August general elections after he was declared the winner of the Jubilee repeat nomination exercise held on Thursday.
Ndirangu won the primary election after garnering 5,926 votes. His closes competitor, Lee Muchiri, got 2,104 votes.
The Political Parties Disputes Tribunal ordered the nomination for the constituency’s MP seat repeated after the first exercise held on April 26th got nullified.
