The Office of Registrar of Political Parties has approved the ouster of Jubilee leader Uhuru Kenyatta’s allies from the party.
In a statement, the Registrar of Political Parties Anne Nderitu declared that Jubilee followed due process in expelling the party’s secretary general Jeremiah Kioni and vice chair David Murathe. It also confirmed the suspension of party treasurer Kagwe Gichohi. The bold move endows the party leadership to Ruto allies led by acting secretary general Kanini Kega.
“Following a review of the submitted documents, in line with PPA and party constitution, this office is satisfied that the party adhered to the due process. Accordingly, pursuant to section 34(da), of the PPA, the office has updated its records and the register of party members. “Nderitu’s letter dated May 19 reads.
The judgment by the office of the Registrar of Political Parties strips Kioni and Murathe of their leadership positions, denying them the right to issue directives for the party. On May 19, the Kega’s faction held a National Executive Council meeting where they agreed to expel Kioni and Murathe as initially recommended by Jubilee’s Disciplinary Committee.
The NEC backed by Joshua Kutuny, then informed the registrar of parties to convey their resolutions. The rule suggests that Uhuru has lost the party to rebel MPs backing Ruto’s administration. It also pronounces the decisions made at Monday’s NDC null and void.
The nonsensical red Jubilee…
The nonsensical red Jubilee of thieves murderers and criminals!
Ann Nderitu is a rouge woman…
Ann Nderitu is a rouge woman from Mukuruini, Nyeri! She has gone to bed with Gachiethera to destroy political parties in Kenya. What stolen money can do is quite weird.
