It is with deep regret that we announce the untimely death of Esther W. Mbuthia (Mama Kareri) of Silver Spring, Maryland.
She was the wife to the late Paul Mbuthia Kareri, mother to Jacinta W. Ndirangu, Lucy Wangare, the late Simon Kareri, Francis Wambugu, Evans Murage, James Karoki, Elizabeth Wanjiru, Anne M. Ganness, Catherine Njuguna, grandmother, and a great grandmother.
On April 25th, Mama Kareri underwent a successful surgery, but suffered a stroke on April 26th and passed away on Monday May, 6th, 2019 after complications at The George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C.
Family and friends will be gathering for a memorial service on Saturday, May, 11th 2019 from 3pm – 7pm at Bethel World Outreach Church Hall of Nations (3rd Floor) 16227 Batchellors Forest Road Olney, MD 20832.
