It is with humble acceptance that we announce the death of Esther Waithira Karanja of Irvington, New Jersey after a short illness.
Esther was the daughter of the late Edmund and Enisha Karanja who died on 25 Jan 2019, sister to Aidah, George, twin sister Mary, Jane and David, all of Kenya, cousin to Mary Muturi, Christina Mwangi, Helen Muchiri, Patrick Kariuki, Nancy Muchiri, all of NJ, Francis Kamundia and Lucy Kariuki of PA, Tony Kariuki TX, Eric Mungai, MD and Stella Faria, AL and many others in Kenya, Auntie to Teddy Mwangi of NJ and others.
Family and friends are meeting daily at her cousins residence at 1244 Wilshire Drive, Union, NJ 07983 from 6pm.
A fundraising to meet her funeral expenses will be held on Saturday, March 23 at 5:00pm. Venue: SMC, 255 Johnston Avenue, Plainfield, NJ.
