Police in Ruiru, Kiambu County have arrested three female suspects for allegedly spiking revelers’ drinks.
They were apprehended at a popular entertainment joint in Kamakis area along the Eastern By-Pass after a barman attending to revelers noticed the sudden turn of events of three men, who appeared to be zombified all at once.
The victims had checked into Green Spot Gardens on Sunday afternoon and were enjoying their drinks and roasted meat when they spotted three women seated a table from theirs and decided to invite them for a bite, the DCI said.
Initially, the women pretended to be hesitant but one of the men quipped humorously and the women joined them in “tearing away the marinated, juicy goat ribs and washed it down with rounds of drinks.”
“The men filled with boyish excitement enjoyed their new found company as hit song Wendo Wi Cama by popular Kikuyu musician Samidoh and Joyce Wamama rent the air, setting the mood for a happy ending,” the DCI wrote.
As the evening progressed, the women laced the drinks with a stupefying substance and began “wooing the men whispering that it was about time.”
Luckily, the barman who was at the counter noticed the sudden turn of events as the three men appeared zombified, prompting him to call our officers who responded immediately.
The women Hellen Wambui, 36, Irene Wairimu, 30, and Fidelis Wambui, 34 were arrested and upon quick search, stupefying tablets were recovered from them.
The suspects are currently in custody at Ruiru police station pending arraignment in court.

They need to arrest those…

Thanks for the alert barman…
Thanks for the alert barman.I will drink one for him.He could easily have ignored what was going on…
I cannot fault the men for their generousity, and desire to socialize, however, they should know that in such settings, you should not trust any woman,or for that matter one man.
“Initially, the women pretended to be hesitant ” this was purely a ploy cultivated to make them appear innocent, and harmless.I liken this to prostitutes in the Arab world wearing bui bui to appear pious, and pure.
A while ago there was a very detailed article on mchele babes, and their operations.I would hope that this exposure alerted men to be cautious. But I think this is as case of the fish not seeing the hook, but the bait.Men, you can avoid the bait, but fishing in clean ponds. You ask me where they are? MMMMmmmm pastor Ng’ang’a knows where.
Mchele babes?!? Come on!
