Nairobi Woman Rep. Esther Passaris Rattles Kenyans Online for Supporting Homosexuality

Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris is under fire from Kenyans online for advocating for the legalization of homosexuality in the country.

Passaris took to Twitter to fault High Court’s refusal to decriminalize same-sex relations, arguing that it is wrong to deny two adults the “joy of love and sex.”

“I choose not to judge. Who are we to deny two consenting adults the joy of love and sex? It’s time for us to live and let live. I wouldn’t want to see any LGBTIQ+ Kenyan killed or thrown in jail just for being different,” Passaris said in a tweet.

The politician rattled Kenyan social media users who were quick to dismiss her argument and support for homosexuals.

@kimenyi5 said:” @EstherPassaris For a morally upright leader n a sober mind person, some practices r better condemned. Dont let me feel like I lost my vote for U! Yea they have a right as per ua view but take uarself in the shoes of their families. would U b okay to see your kids go that route?”

@oketchman noted:”Unacceptable choice that even a cow can’t make?!”

@IbMtheman said:”My beloved representative of my wife and her friends, there is a reason why God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.”

@ricadekaleson tweeted:” Wait until your son comes home with another man and introduce him as his husband. That’s when you’ll realize that shit hurts. Personally, I have no issues with what “two consenting” adults choose to do. Personally, I wouldn’t encourage such a thing in my house.”

@FredricMomanyi posed:”I thought u were better than this ?? We Africans will not allow such culture into our society. Let each organ play its designated role don’t tempt God.”

@kriswanjiru stated:”The problem with people like you is that you think what you saying is fashionable.”

@MaithaKarisa said:”May God keep us far away from leaders like you.”

  1. Stories about homosexuality…
Stories about homosexuality are beginning to be a distraction among Kenyans including on Mwakilishi. People here just can’t seem to be rational. Its like giving std 4 pupil the work of a form one.

Mwakilishi, let’s also move away from Eric Omondi too with his semi-pedophilia ways and the gruesome murders taking place perpetrated by mad men against their hard working women. We get it now but unfortunately we are not in the judiciary. We need corruption curbed so every Kenyan life can be uplifted. Those are the stories we need.

  2. I’m with my sister Passaris…
I’m with my sister Passaris on this one. What consenting adults decide to do in private is their business. My body my choice. I’m more concerned about the billions of taxpayers shillings being misappropriated by corrupt governors and politicians.

  3. Like I said in my beloved…
Like I said in my beloved mother tongue Kiswahili, a big majority of all manner of leaders in Kenya are either gay or lesbians: Esther Pasaris might be one of them. Gays and lesbians have surely but slowly being penetrating in our Kenyan society for sometime now, thereby defecating and destroying the moral fabric that unite us as a nation. Western nations have for many year being at the forefront in sponsoring innocent and vulnerable gays and lesbian, and they seem to be gaining traction in their quest. Due to lack of employment and hard economic times seen in our country, the likes of Don, Enderson, Richard Quest etc have used their journalistic mouth piece to lobby for funds through their governments, in the name of human rights. Any African, like Makau or Pasaris, advocating or talking in favour of these perverts, should be dealt with by their own people. Anybody willing to be gays or lesbians, let him or her stay with them in the western hemispheres but not in Africa.

    • Big shot Gays and Lesbians…
Big shot Gays and Lesbians in Leadership in Kenya are Especially those who went to Big schools: e.g St. Mary’s where Uhuru and Musalia went.

@FredricMomanyi posed:”I thought u were better than this ?? We Africans will not allow such culture into our society. Let each organ play its designated role don’t tempt God.” You must not be reading the dailies,or are in denial.Homosexuality is rife in Kenya. And it was not brought about by mzungu.Again I repeat, studies show that in every known human society, there has existed about 10% of homosexuals. Its not african culture, and its not western culture. Its a human behavior not created by society, but by genetics, and biological factor.Again I ask,how could somebody chose to be gay knowing the backlash, rejection, austracise, and even death? Some have been known to kill themselves than out of the closets.
And those who chose to believe in God,please respect those who dont.as much as they respect your beliefs. If you are so concerned about homosexuality then, let God deal with it not you.I would rather have a homosexual son who is not a thief, rapist, corrupt, and who excels at his work, and studies. In other words he is an asset to society and not a burden .My two cents

  6. @mjuaji does our African …
@mjuaji does our African “moral fabric” allow politicians to live exorbitant lives with stolen public funds? Fly around with helicopters while most Kenyans cannot afford 3 meals a day? Waste billions building governors mansions while patients die for lack of medicine in public hospitals? Waste hundreds of millions paying for trips abroad while Kenyans starve. Or does the “moral fabric” end with homosexuality?

    • @mumbi, great point…
@mumbi, great point. Anything is thrown at Kenyans to make them forget that their country is being looted by politicians and they always take the bait.

  7. The issue of gayism is being…
The issue of gayism is being pushed on us by Americans for their own national interests which am yet to pinpoint. It is an unnecessary item to get into the agenda of national issues. It is wrong for us to make the young ones believe that it is cool to be gay. It should never even be debated

  8. Is Esther Passaris a lesbian…
Is Esther Passaris a lesbian? Then how did she manage to give birth to a daughter? I can just simply say she could be preaching water but drinking wine.
