National Super Alliance (NASA) supremo Raila Odinga took time out of his busy schedule to celebrate his 73rd birthday with his supporters at the Kakamega Golf Hotel on Sunday.
The opposition leader cut a cake and shared it with delegates from Western Kenya counties of Trans Nzoia, Bungoma, Busia, Kakamega and Vihiga ahead of series of rallies in the region.
Coming at a time when NASA has been preparing to have Odinga take Oath as people’s president, the message on the cake was quite clear: “Happy birthday Mr. President”.
He was flanked by his co-principals Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetang’ula. The leaders will later Kakamega launch the People’s Assembly forum in Kakamega.
Odinga, son of Kenya’s first Vice-President Jaramogi Oginga Odinga, was born on January 7th, 1945 in Maseno, Kisumu county.

Happy birthday Raila. I hope you choose to retire rather than wait for events to take over and force you to retire. I hope you have well wishes for Kenya as your age is calling for you to pass on the mantle to those that you have prepared over the years. You have played your part, let others do theirs.
