American star rapper William Leonard Roberts II, popularly known as Rick Ross, is set to perform in Nairobi next month.
The celebrated musician will perform at the second NRG Wave concert to be held at the Carnivore Grounds on April 28th.
His come to Kenya was reportedly brokered by Wasafi Records Manager, Babu Tale, who is understood to have a good relationship with Rick Ross. It is this relationship that saw Tanzania star singer Diamond Platnumz collaborate with Rick Ross on the hit track – “Waka Waka.”
The show is organised by Flame 101 Company. In a tweet, NRG Radio said: “Nairobi! The biggest party in the region is going down with the BIG boss himself, @RickRoss #NRGWave is happening on 28th April 2018 at the Carnivore Grounds. Mark your calendar!”
Diamond and a host of other local hip-hop artistes will perform at the event.
