Edday Nderitu on Saturday confirmed that she left her husband Samidoh, clarifying that she is not involved in any polygamous relationship.
Edday, currently residing in the US, revealed that she decided to end her marriage with the popular Mugithi musician due to the toxic environment that was affecting her mental health. She emphasized the importance of peace in her life and her need to protect her teenage daughter. Edday also urged bloggers to refrain from mentioning her name in the ongoing love triangle saga, conveying that the ridicule she endured had pushed her to the breaking point.
“I am not in any polygamous marriage as stated I left the husband for whoever needed him more. I made a decision to remove myself and my kids from that toxic environment especially my teen daughter who unfortunately is the direct recipient of unbelievable behaviour displayed,” she wrote.
In February, she bashed Samidoh for humiliating her and described their 15-year marriage as tumultuous. Despite the challenges, she is proud of raising her children on her own and is determined to avoid any unnecessary drama. The disclosure by Edday came just hours after nominated Senator Pauline Nyumu shared photos of her in the company of Samidoh during a burial in Murang’a, despite her earlier statement that she is no longer getting cosy with the musician.
After a dramatic incident in Dubai between nominated Senator Karen Nyamu and Edday Nderitu, it seems that the two have put their differences aside. The drama occurred in 2022 during Samidoh’s Mugiithi show in Dubai when Nyamu forcefully sat on Samidoh’s lap. This resulted in a confrontation between Nyamu and Samidoh, with Nyamu almost slapping her baby daddy before being taken away by security guards. However, recent sightings show Nyamu and Samidoh sharing close intimate moments.

So what is the take away here? Well to me, the take away is that make yourself as self reliant as possible.Dont rush into a relatioship.Chose wisely. Self reliant is not the same as being independent.No body can be totally independent from other humans-;meaning not needing anything from other human beings,especially LOVE.
What perplexes me most is that, despite claiming that we as human beings are smarter now,especially when we measure the progress in technological advancement we seem, to fail measurably in our interpersonal,and social relationships.As evidenced by high divorce rates,teenage pregnancies,juvenile delinquency, crimes and drug trafficking, especially by women.You dont have to go far to get examples.Just look at Ruto and Raila.Why cannot they just get along… Will SCIENCE ever provide the answer? I hope so.
