Tatu City has launched a raffle that will see a lucky Kenyan diaspora winner flown home from any location in the world.
Entry into the raffle is free and open to any Kenyan living and working abroad aged 18 and above.
As an added bonus, the winner will be given a chance to invite a friend or family member to accompany them during the trip.
Dubbed “Fly Me Home!”, the raffle will accept entries from April 1st through June 30th, 2022, and the draw will be aired live on Tatu City’s social media channels on July 1st.
The campaign was launched on Friday by Olympian and World Champion runner Lornah Kiplagat, a Tatu City resident and the new city’s Health and Wellness ambassador.
“Tatu City is proud to support the Kenyan diaspora and the incredibly important role they play in our country’s economic development. The controlled neighborhoods of Tatu City have long attracted members of the diaspora looking for a serene, secure, and rapidly appreciating real estate investment back home in Kenya, and we are pleased to make their return even easier, from any location in the world!” said Lornah.
The 5,000-acre Tatu City is located 30 minutes from Nairobi CBD and has two schools (Crawford International and Nova Pioneer), thousands of apartments, and single dwelling homes in Kijani Ridge, the city’s premier residential neighborhood.
The new city offers a unique live, work, and play environment that is free from traffic congestion and long-distance commuting.
Tatu, which is Kenya’s first operational Special Economic Zone, has welcomed more than 60 companies to its business-friendly location, among them Dormans, Copia, Cooper K-Brands, Chandaria Industries, Maxxam, Kim-Fay, Twiga Foods, Freight Forwarders Solutions, Friendship Group, Davis & Shirtliff and KWAL.
Registration for the raffle and Terms & Conditions are found on tatucity.com/flymehome. The raffle is licensed by the Betting Control and Licensing Board of Kenya.

Big hullabaloo about a tiny…
Big hullabaloo about a tiny prize. How many Diasporas cannot afford a return ticket to Kenya? You can get one from anywhere in the world for less than $1000, or about a week’s pay. Who has the time to register and follow a gamble, instead of just working for the Airfare?
Beware diasporans – Kenyans…
Beware diasporans – Kenyans are no longer trustworthy. They will lie to you and take everything you have so hard worked for. This ambassador of everything advertising Tatu City maybe a con. One of the RealEstate agent working in Tatu City sold me a piece of land that I later found it was a 1/4 Acre less what was on the Title Deed. His name is Njenga. This land dealer Njenga is a conman. He lives in AthiRiver but operates in Machakos. We are soon heading to court.
Agree, Kenyans have become…
Agree, Kenyans have become leaders in the art of conning their gullible Kenyans. I am not going to register and give my personal info to corrupt entities. How did this Tatu City overtake the Konza City in development? Wasn’t Konza City project started many years before Tatu City? Tatu City does not seem to have the hearts of most Kenyans to trust. Soon there will be no water from the Kilimanjaro project as it is directed to Tatu City.
