Miguna Miguna Issues Demands to Kenya Gov’t Ahead of Next Week's Return

Deported lawyer Miguna Miguna has demanded back his passport from the government ahead of his scheduled return to Kenya on January 7th, 2020.

In a series of tweets, Miguna said the government must obey court orders by returning his Kenyan passport, which was confiscated by immigration authorities before his deportation last year, as well as facilitate his entry into Kenya, unconditionally.

“Court Orders are not suggestions. They are ORDERS. Return/issue my valid Kenyan passport, which you took from me illegally and the Courts have ordered you to return unconditionally. The Courts also Ordered you to FACILITATE my return and ENTRY into Kenya UNCONDITIONALLY,” Miguna tweeted.

Miguna made the demands hours after President Kenyatta hinted that he would not be blocked from coming back. Kenyatta spoke during the funeral service of the late Kenyan politician Charles Rubia in Kandara, Murang’a County on Monday.

“No one has been gagged from expressing their opinion. I have heard that some people want to board a plane and come back into the country. Let them talk…that is their right. But they should use that freedom to spread peace and national cohesion,” said Kenyatta.

Earlier on Monday, Government Spokesperson Col. Cyrus Oguna indicated that Miguna will be allowed back as long as he carried valid travel documents.

“All his travel papers must be right and valid. (Then) he will not be denied entry. All his papers must be right and valid as per the travel regulations. We are governed by the rule of law,” Oguna told a local media.

My uncle from Japan just left and no one even noticed that he was here. His passport had expired all he did he went to the right office for renewal and within three days he was on his way to Tokyo. Now coming from Canada should just be like any other citizen without noise making and causing distractions I know you are always on mwakilishi reading comments take this to the bank . Visit your country and please Kenyan are tired of empty talk and worshiping people like you and your drama. If you feel violated use the legal channels to ask for justice.

  2. WELCOME HOME TO KENYA…
WELCOME HOME TO KENYA REDEMPTION FRONT(KPF) LEADER DR. MIGUNA MIGUNA.

Sir. Please allow me to share some ideas with you.
When it comes to sheer strength , courage and towering body build, Hippo ranks very high and seemingly have no threat. However deeper, Its fatal weakness though is that it is a one directional giant and cannot turn to cover its rear and it’s enemies like prowling hyena or lion long discovered that major lapse. So even alone Hyena or lion would attack the mammoth Hippo from its behind and eat it alive gruesomely!!

Though we admire you for your candid, untainted and transparent visionary brand of politics backed by actionable blue print, be cautioned not to act like the Hippo.

If you’re too rigid and one way focused like a Hippo , your complete political banishment not too far.You cut across both formations: Govt and the Opposition a like hoping for a third way miraculous revolution oblivious that Kenyans are mainly revolutionaries gurus on Facebook , youtube and Twitter etc led by Kan Kakas! Pockets of real revolutionaries are found only in Kibera, Nyalenda , Obunga, Migori and Homabay who mostly have no access to fb,Twitter, youtube etc. Please consider aligning with either promising formation.

To avoid a catastrophic fate of the Hippo, ps learn to know when to fake loyalty where necessary and when to strike hard. For instance, now President Masisi licked Khama’ s boots for years pretending loyalty,President Laurenco concealed his anti graft credentials and abuse of power distaste from Dos Santos -the mentor and his daughter and both are now ruthlessly dealing with past excess of Khama and Dos Santos. Mike Pence might be bidding his time under Imperial Trump right now etc.

Sir , Ascending to power from outside the system requires serious revolutionaries existing mainly in the Arab World, Ukraines and West Africa not in Kenya or Tanzania. You saw Kabila would rather proclaim election loser -his childhood golfing opposition buddy Mr. Tshisekedi the ‘Winner’ and ‘surrender’ power to him than to trust legitimate winner Fayulu.

Though am one of the few who voted and even contributed few coins for you to be the next Nairobi Governor 2017, I knew you cannot win at the time as the wave was strongly either pro Sonko or Kidero. Based on this , I texted you drop your independent bid , join Jubilee and ‘support’ Sonko as a way of positioning yourself strategically for the next government formation whilst building your CV like Matiangy under UK and bidding time. I reasoned a wise man pauses to reflect on the environment and change tact when necessary. You lashed me out before blocking me. I believe one has to start somewhere to get somewhere.

Now we have many ills like ones below affecting Kenyans that you can always articulate on without even mentioning RAO or UK:

    * corruption and skewed recruitment, training and arming of our security forces who largely exist on paper,

*Poor Disaster Preparedness e.g. Turkana Disaster which even the Head of State has not visited and worse even security forces read the army – he ordered to rush there and assist in rescue and recovery were no show leaving the locals to lead those efforts themselves without tools and experience.. , Despite coverage of mangled rescue and recovery in Turkana by Aljazeera, the Govt (army)was not moved.

*Disastrous perennial Kano and Budalangi floods ignored by National and particularly County Govts,

*Harsh economic times forcing companies to either retrench workers or close down brought about by Govt unpredictability, red tapes, over taxation, exaggerated cost e.g. of power etc.

    * selective prosecution of ‘graft’ cases,

*poverty, Hunger , diseases featuring persistently on the media without concrete action

*lake Victoria hyacinth that RAO has been ‘battling’ for 30th yrs , *compensation to families of the youths killed, maimed and jailed protesting Baba’s ‘stolen’ victory,

*land acquisition in Kisumu for SGR/SEZ without compensation,

*Demolition of businesses in Kisumu without due process and compensation, *UK’s Rogue state agencies like Nema, Ntsa, NCA, KRA , EACC, County Governments ,police etc each waking up without a warning at the slightest if incident to ‘close’ and ‘unclose’ legitimate businesses thereby wrecking investor confidence and their investments leading to loss of thousands of jobs , govt income etc. Just have a look of Magoha ‘closing’ academies and tranfering pupils without regard to the investment and parents preferences, NTSA ‘suspending’ Modern Coast after accident, Police keeping innocent passengers on road blocks for hours on the pretext of ‘weeding out non compliant ‘ vehicles from the road, NLC ‘revoking’ Taj Mall title deed issued 1996 paving way for demolition of the mall without compensation.

    * double and high taxation and punitive KRA ‘default’ measures

    * too many regulations for businesses etc

In summary, your plate is full! Welcome home General!!!

    • You couldn’t have stated it…
You couldn’t have stated it better! I hope Miguna listens
      Proverbs 11:14 ESV
Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety.

I wonder which airline booked him did they have his name expunched from the black book??

  4. Kenyans are tired of…
Kenyans are tired of childish behavior and drama. You have started acting foolish even before you enter the initial plane in Canada. Nobody owes anything. Give Kenyans a break from your madness!

  5. What is wrong with you…
What is wrong with you Miguna? One would make a general assumption that you are able to reason things out based on the level of your formal education. What have ever done to help those in need except talking dreamless big item stuff to glorify yourself.. Please stop working the common people’s six and emotions. It is a very unwarranted behavior for a man of caliber to have. Not amusing at all!

  6. IF YOU SUPPORT WHAT THAT…
IF YOU SUPPORT WHAT THAT STUPID GOVT HAS DONE TO MIGUNA, UNDERSTAND THIS SETS DANGEROUS PRECEDENCE. A CORRUPT GOVT CAN NOT DO THIS TO CITIZENS, ESPECIALLY PEOPLE WHO LIVE OVERSEAS OF KENYAN ORIGIN. COURT ORDERS HAVE TO BE FOLLOWED AND THEY MUST RESPECT THE JUDICIARY, OTHERWISE IT’S A FAILED STATE. LAWS HAVE TO BE FOLLOWED.

  7. Another nutcase. Not…
Another nutcase. Not impressive at all. Whatever talent you possess your time has come and gone. You remind me of a movie I saw many, many years ago titled “Too late the hero.” You are yesterday’s news. People moved on. You got left behind man. If you come to Kenya just do your thing. We do not owe you a thing. Stop the madness.

  8. For those who follow…
For those who follow american football(nfl) miguna is behaving like Antonio Brown
