103 Kenyans Deported From the United States in 2017

The number of Kenyans deported from the United States increased from 63 in 2016 to more than 103 in 2017. This increase reflects an overall rise in the number of extraditions of Africans in Donald Trump’s first year as President.

In total, 2,134 people drawn from sub-Saharan countries were removed from the US last year; more than double the 920 deportations in 2016.

The jump could partly be attributed to Trump’s crackdown on undocumented immigrants.

Somalia, one of the nations allegedly targeted by Trump’s ban on immigration, saw the highest number of deportations in Africa last year, with 521 Somalis being deported, compared to 198 in 2016.

Data from the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency (ICE) indicates that a total of 226,119 illegal immigrants were removed from the US in 2017 compared to 240,225 in the previous year.

“Overall removals are down because the border is under better control than it has been in 45 years,” ICE deputy director Thomas Homan said at a news conference last year.

Those illegals, most are from the evil communities who have ran the country into a shithole since independence

They could be Some of those INSECURE, Jealous and Hateful Kenyans who (at one time or another) Betrayed their Fellow Kenyans’ Trust until it Caught Up with them (when they were Thrown Under the Bus too). KARMA! ya “Wivu Mbovu! Mbovu! Mbovu!! Mbovu!!! Wivu Mbovu!” as one Gospel SongStress puts it.

@jomo & Guest1, Shame on you two mothersuckers for delighting in other’s misfortune. I bet you feel good about yourselves hating on people you don’t know. You’ve only exposed your low self esteem.

I get it though, most of us kenyans thrive on jealousy, spite, envy, gossiping and alcoholism.

You have a good and edicative plint! Unfortunately some people esp Africans when they move abroad, they live as if there is no tomorrow or in swahili ” ni kama walifika” not keeping in mind that you can get bumped on at anytime. As you advice them, you spend 5 and save 5( back home since if you save abroad and is without proper documents, then whatever you have abroad won’t help you).

East or West Home is the best!
The problem with our family members or relatives is the greed of their children’s or sisters/brothers money. You send it to them so that they can save it for you but they end up spending it and keep on cheating you that the money was saved in your account or they invested on your behalf only for you to get a shock when you go back home. Some of those family members are so daring so when you ask them to send you some pictures so that you can see how far the project has gone they’ll take pictures from neighbours property and send them to you pretending that it’s your property(ies).
