Raila Wins the Diaspora Vote of Kenyans Based in Arusha, Tanzania

National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential candidate Raila Odinga has trounced President Uhuru Kenyatta in votes cast by diaspora community living in neighboring country, Tanzania.

Vote counting for ballot cast at Tanzania capital Arusha ended minutes after 5 pm East African time.

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga managed to garner 92 votes, while President Uhuru Kenyatta was second with 68 votes. Ekuru Aukot of Thirdway Alliance got 2 votes.

The voting was conducted at the Kenya Embassy in Arusha.

Other Kenyans voted in Dar-es- Salaam (Tanzania), Kigali (Rwanda), Kampala (Uganda) and Pretoria (South Africa).
