On December 12, in celebration of Kenya’s Jamhuri Day, the Kitwek Women’s Department and Kitwek Events Department hosted the inaugural Kitwek Ladies Cruise in South Australia.

This exclusive yacht event, dedicated to women, aimed to foster a sense of community and cultural celebration among Kenyan women living abroad. Guests donned the event’s designated attire of white and blue, creating a striking visual against the scenic backdrop of South Australia’s shimmering waters.

The gathering attracted a diverse demographic, uniting women from different generations, including Baby Boomers and Millennials. The atmosphere was characterized by laughter, dance, and a collective spirit that resonated with the essence of Jamhuri Day.

The luxurious yacht served as an ideal venue for an evening of networking and entertainment. Guests were treated to lively Kenyan music, enhancing the event’s ambience and offering a vibrant blend of sophistication and cultural heritage.

Notably, the DJ and MC curated a dynamic soundtrack that kept attendees engaged, while photographer Walter Rotich captured the evening’s memorable moments, ensuring these experiences would be preserved for the future. In a statement shared on social media, the event organizers express their gratitude to attendees for their participation in the first Kitwek Ladies Cruise.
