In partnership with the UK Kenya Tech Hub and the British High Commission, the forum will explore emerging investment opportunities, showcase innovative technologies and foster collaborative ventures intended to stimulate economic growth in the region.
Eldohub is committed to enhancing education, innovation, and technology, particularly focusing on empowering youth and women to engage with Information and Communication Technology (ICT) opportunities, thereby addressing the skills gap in Africa’s job market. Eldohub CEO and founder Magdaline Chepkemoi reflect on Kenya’s dual identity as a nation excelling in long-distance running and its rapidly evolving tech sector.
Enos Masinde, Country Director of the UK Kenya Tech Hub, touts the initiative’s ambition to blend sports and technology therefore capitalizing on Eldoret’s rich sporting heritage. Chepkemoi likens the journey of building a successful business to running a marathon; she mentions the importance of patience, endurance, and long-term commitment — qualities that are often overlooked in the pursuit of sustainable business success.

A notable feature of the forum will be the introduction of the Eldoret City Investor Platform, a digital resource modelled after the successful Nairobi Business Angel Network. Athletics Kenya President Jack Tuwei points out that the forum will unite stakeholders from both county and national governments, prominent business leaders, influential partners, and celebrated athletes.
