Nominated MP David Ole Sankok's Son Shoots Himself Dead

Nominated MP David Ole Sankok’s first-born son has reportedly shot himself dead.

The incident occurred on Monday afternoon at the politician’s home in Ewaso Nyiro, Narok County, according to reports.

Narok CCIO Mwenda Ithaiba told TV47 Digital that the deceased was a Form Four student and was supposed to report to school last week but he did not.

“From the preliminary investigations, we have established that the boy was meant to go back to school last week but he didn’t,” said Mwenda.

“He spent the money that was meant for shopping and returned home.”

The detective said MP Sankok, who had traveled during the week, returned home and insisted that the son must report to school for the new term accompanied by his guardian due to the lateness.

“The information we have gathered is that an argument ensued and Sankok left the house for Ewaso Nyiro trading centre to speak to some people. It is at this moment that the boy accessed the family safe and reached for the pistol with which he shot himself,” added Mwenda.

Police have launched investigations into the incident.

Just an EXAMPLE: Just because your Child scores As and A+s in Schools is not Qualification for them to be Trusted. Many of these “Intelligent” Kids are CONS and SQUANDERING Scoundrels.

Condolences to the Nanok family. Irrespective of who they are, it is devastating for any parent to bury their child; at any age.

May the young man’s soul RIP

I can’t imagine what trust has to do with suicide. Something was wrong and the father missed it. Depression is very real and needs treatment. Unfortunately, for too many of us, we ignore the signs or brush aside calls for help until it’s too late. Now everything that child was and would ever be is gone. All the father has left now is sorrow and regrets and a future unfulfilled.

It was an accident, a most avoidable accident. Kids are excited about guns, they see them as exciting toys and it’s up to the adults owning guns to securely store them away from Kids. He failed to do that and the result is the death of a child. Tragic.
