Five Candidates Shortlisted for IEBC CEO Position

Five candidates have been shortlisted for the position of Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Chief Executive Officer/Commission Secretary.

The five, who were shortlisted by the IEBC Selection Panel from a list of 511 applications, will be interviewed on March 8th, 2022 at the electoral commission’s head offices at Anniversary Towers in Nairobi.

They include acting IEBC CEO Marjan Hussein Marjan, Nancy Kariuki Wanjiku, Dr. Joel Mabonga, Zephaniah Aura Okeyo, and Dr. George Kamau Michugu.

10 other candidates have been shortlisted for the position of Deputy CEO from a list of 860 applicants. They are Nuno Roble Said, Obadiah Keitany Kipkoech, Ibrahim Osman Hassan, Naisiae Tobiko Paloshe, Nelly Ilongo, Joyce Ekuam Narumbe Idumu, Fredrick Riaga Ogalo, Simon Cheruiyot Kiplangat, Ruth Kulundu Songa Khatievi and John Muhia Mwangi.

The interviews for Deputy Commission Secretary/Deputy CEO are scheduled for March 9th and 10th.

All shortlisted candidates are required to carry their original certificates and testimonials, clearances, and original and copy of the national ID card.
