Kenya Added to the UAE Red List over Omicron Variant

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has placed Kenya on its red alert list following the detection of the Omicron variant of coronavirus.

As a result, persons traveling to the Gulf state from Kenya will face stricter travel requirements to enter the country.

The Dubai Civil Aviation Authority says passengers originating from Kenya must have a valid negative Covid-19 test certificate issued 48 hours from the time the sample was collected.

They are also required to take a PCR test upon arrival in Dubai and self-quarantine until a negative test result is out.

“Direct passengers will have to present a Rapid PCR test report that should be based on molecular diagnostic testing intended for the qualitative detection of nucleic acid for SARS-COV-2 viral RNA; conducted at the departure airport prior to 6 hours of departure, provided with QR code system,” the UAE aviation authority said in a statement.

Similarly, transit passengers will have to present a valid negative Covid-19 test certificate obtained within 48 hours after collection of the sample.

Kenya was added to the UAE red list alongside Burundi, Cameroon, Chad, Nigeria, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia.

The UAE aviation authority has also ordered all airlines to verify the authenticity of the passenger requirements before they board flights, failure to which they will be fined and the passengers rejected.

On Wednesday, Kenya reported three cases of the Omicron variant among passengers arriving from South Africa. The passengers include two Kenyans and one South African national.

Oh, I thought Kenya only had 3 confirmed omicron cases? Rangi yetu or what?

Rotten, unfortunately that’s true. Did you see how they were quick to stop freights from SA? I don’t remember them being that quick to ban flights from India and China

Biwott you couldn’t have said it any better! Surely, who loves us? Enda America they hate us. Kuja Kenya, our own goons or politicians steal from us left and right

  3. Travellers to and from of…
Effective 22/12/2021. Travellers to and from of Kenya need to read this:

Kenya’s Ministry of Health announced all passengers age 18 and over arriving in Kenya will need to present a valid certificate of COVID-19 vaccination effective immediately. All passengers exiting Kenya will also need to present a valid certificate of COVID-19 vaccination, as well as meet the existing requirements under the Trusted Traveler Initiative.

  4. The government should not…
The government should not have mandated the vaccine. The government is in contempt of all the court orders issued before the mandate. I believe courts are not to be treated like subservient branch of the government. The government should have gone to court to argue its case before the courts and respect the decision of the courts all through. For the government to have gone ahead and issued the mandate against the court decision implies the government does not respect the courts in the country on this particular issue. History has shown that a government that does not respect the rule of law and order lays a foundation for tyranny form of rulership. It is impossible not to speculate on foreign influence in the Kenyan leaders on this mandate. It is my hope that the leaders will wake up like their counterparts in other countries and utilize sovereignty in making such important decisions. Leaders should not cause dysfunction in one arm of the government to comply with the demands and appease the interest of other few people. I also hope that the spiral effect of this mandate will not be huge in other sectors before it is corrected. Solutions advocated for any problem, should not cause a bigger problem than the ones being solved.

  5. URGENTLY SAVE KENYANS FROM…
URGENTLY SAVE KENYANS FROM VACCINE SIDE EFFECTS

Findings enumerated in the article below are serious to anyone who has taken the vaccine or intends to take the vaccine. Phamaceutical companies continue to find ways to suppress the data from being made available now. They would like the data to be made available after 75 years. This data was released during the Russia/Ukraine invasion, as such, many people have not paid attention to the findings. The time of release was meant to ensure maximum distraction from the matter. I have highlighted some points from the article:

“These findings should put an immediate end to the Pfizer COVID vaccines. The potential for serious harm is very clear, and those injured by the vaccines are prohibited from suing Pfizer for damages.”

“A 38-page report included in the documents features an Appendix, “LIST OF ADVERSE EVENTS OF SPECIAL INTEREST,” that lists 1,291 different adverse events following vaccination”

“This follows U.S. District Judge Mark T. Pittman’s decision on January 6 to deny the request from the FDA to suppress the data for the next 75 years which the agency claimed was necessary, in part, because of its “limited resources.”

Please share this article to all Kenyans for everyone to make an informed decision. It is my prayer that the information in the above article will touch the hearts of all leaders, particularly in the ministry of health to reconsider the mandates in place and the violation of court orders issued on the mandates.
