Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has once again distanced himself from the brutal killing of former Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) ICT manager Chris Msando.
Msando was found dead in Muguga Forest in Kikuyu, Kiambu County on July 31st, 2017, a day after he was allegedly abducted in Nairobi by unknown people. His mutilated body was found together with that of 21-year-old Carol Ngumbu, with postmortem examination revealing he was strangled to death.
MP Moses Kuria was the first to find Msando’s car parked outside a house in Nairobi’s Roysambu area, which is why some people have constantly linked him to his murder.
“So this is Chris Musando’s vehicle right now here at Roysambu. The idiot is enjoying sweet time with a woman. And the story was that he is privy to ‘rigging’ and he can’t be found. Verily, verily I say unto you Raila. You will not burn this country. Not when I am alive,” Kuria wrote on Facebook hours before the body of Msando was found.
On Saturday, an angry Kuria protested on Facebook after some Kenyans online reminded him of his alleged role in the killing of Msando. This was after Kuria posted about the alleged disappearance of Majority Whip in the National Assembly, Benjamin Washiali, who is also the MP of Mumias East.
“I am sick and tired about people connecting me to the murder of Chris Msando. I will address the media on Monday 20th January 2020 at 3 pm about this whole issue” Kuria wrote.
A Facebook user named Onyango told Kuria: “At this time Kenyans were not aware that Msando was already murdered and there was a lifeless lady lying naked close to him, but you were already aware that he was with a woman, your statement betrayed you, you’re just safe because our system is corrupted, you’re supposed to be in jail serving life sentence for this crime.”
To date, the killers of Msando are yet to be known even as his family continues to demand justice for their kin.

Apparently Kuria appeared to be tracking Musando’s movements in the last few hours of his life, and willingly reporting it to the world!
Apparently Kuria himself linked himself to everything about Musando’s death. So, Kuria still has several questions to respond to about Musando’s death!
How did Kuria find out where Musando’s Land Rover was parked; and how did Kuria know Musando was having fun with a 21 year old woman in some hotel!?
That kind of close presence to the scene of crime creates a perception that Kuria could be a suspect in Musando’s death.
Kuria can exonerate himself by telling everything he knows about Musando’s disappearance which led to his untimely death!
Only Kuria alone know the truth; and he should tell the truth, nothing but the truth, to set himself free of any suspicions!
