The government has dispelled reports circulating on social media claiming that the National Integrated Identity Management System (NIIMS), commonly referred to as Huduma Namba, has been hacked.
On Saturday, a section of local blogs claimed that a hacker identified only as Enock, a University of Nairobi (UON) ICT student, had infiltrated the system and deleted data collected from 21 million people who have registered for Huduma Namba.
In a statement on Saturday, the Ministry of Interior has rubbished the reports as fake news, saying 23.5 million people have so far been listed.
“Kindly treat fake news circulating claiming Huduma Namba has been hacked with the contempt they deserve. The exercise is ongoing with 23.5 million people already registered. Report any misleading information you spot,” read the ministry’s statement on Twitter.
Interior Ministry spokesperson Wangui Muchiri has also dismissed the claims.
“News circulating claiming to have hacked Huduma Namba utterly false. The exercise is going strong with 23.5 million secure registered persons,” she says in a tweet.

deleting might not be the issue since data can be recovered simple access and copying the sensitive information looks achievable how secure the system is ?? is questionable further having those gadget all over to chiefs and sub chiefs any cyber criminals can reproduce another 23million add them to the system before you know it Kenya population will be hitting 100m people via huduma number…am not an expert in any way.

“Huduma” number just like everything else has a black coating but everything behind it spells “future control” and tighter glips of the so called “black man” by the imperialists,colonialists, neo-colonialists, multi-corporations and world order/disorder. Those who maimed, castrated, sodomized, hanged ,killed our forefathers have not left the scene yet. With their modern technology, banks are being robbed,phone chips being hacked. Nothing will prevent the “Huduma” number from being hacked. And what will those who will be bribed to release those numbers say to the citizens? Corruption as usual. Nothing is worth trusting in our country as long as corruption is on the rise. Only the creator(Real God) can separate us from our enemies ( those who can’t wait to see our destruction- our enemies and our present day home-guards).
