United States First Lady Melania Trump is expected to land in Kenya on Thursday in her ongoing Africa tour that began on Tuesday in Ghana, West Africa.
Her schedule in Kenya has remained unpublished due to security reasons but sources within the government have given a hint of the places she’s set to visit.
Upon arrival in Nairobi, Melania will reportedly hold a brief meeting with President Kenyatta and First Lady Margaret at State House.
Mrs Trump will later visit American embassy in Gigiri, Nairobi where she will be welcomed by outgoing ambassador Robert Godec and other officials.
The 48-year-old will also tour the Kenya National Theater in Nairobi where she will watch a performance by Sarakasi dancers alongside Margret Kenyatta. Sources said the Sarakasi crew will present a creative piece depicting a slum kid who rises to fame.
She will later visit the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) headquarters and later take a trip to the Nairobi National Park where she will reportedly adopt an animal in one of the orphanages. This will highlight her passion in Wildlife conservation.
Mrs Trump will also visit Malawi and Egypt.
