Miguna Miguna is Unnecessarily Stubborn, Raila Tells Kenyans in London

Opposition leader Raila Odinga says that self-declared National Resistance Movement (NRM) general Miguna Miguna is to blame for his trouble with the Kenyan government.

Addressing Kenyans in the United Kingdom at the Greenwood Lecture Theatres of King’s College, London on Friday, Raila said that Miguna refused to cooperate with the Immigration officials at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for him to be cleared to enter the country.

Raila said that the firebrand lawyer’s return was part of his discussion with President Kenyatta at Harambee House before the famous March 9th handshake. The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader said the President agreed he be allowed back.
“I am the one who brought Miguna into NASA, and Miguna was one of those who swore me in as the people’s president. And I raised this issue with Uhuru Kenyatta myself. I said Miguna must be part of the package of this handshake, and I talked to Miguna myself and told him to come back,’’ said Raila Odinga.

However, when the former Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant arrived at the JKIA from Canada, he declined to hand over his passport for stamping, Raila said. Odinga further disclosed that even after going to the airport to prevail upon him to present his passport, Miguna refused and only produced his national identity card.

Similar attempts by officials from the Canadian consular in Nairobi failed as Miguna refused to give in, Odinga further noted.

“I went to the airport and took Miguna’s hand to take him away, the officers told me they have no problem and Miguna should only hand over his passport for stamping. He refused and said he doesn’t have it,” Raila said.

“Miguna Miguna has been the problem in the quest to have him return to Kenya. He is unnecessarily stubborn,” Raila said.

He called on Miguna to comply with clearance procedures for him to be granted reentry into the country.

  1. Raila, tell the whole story…
Raila, tell the whole story. Miguna is one of your casualties. You refused to accept defeat like a gentleman after elections. You asked your followers to carry out your fake inauguration. Those followers included Miguna Miguna. Once, you knew you and your followers were in trouble, you went to join Jubilee so as not to face the consequences but you left your followers without guidance to face the consequences alone. Sounds familiar? Remember 1982 coup? How many were hanged by the state? How many were to blame then? Same here. Is Miguna to blame?

  2. The Statesman Raila Odinga…
The Statesman Raila Odinga tells us that Miguna Miguna is extremely stubborn person, a retard indeed. We should not question Baba. Miguna is a egomania. For those who may not be familiar with the term egomania it is a term referred to someone who is preoccupied with one’s self and follows his/her own ungoverned impulses and is possessed by delusions of personal greatness and feels a lack of appreciation. Someone suffering from this extreme egocentric focus is an egomaniac. The condition is psychologically abnormal. Miguna is practically abnormal and Kenya needs to realize that. Miguna is a sick person that needs medical intervention. Functional literate people like Sonko who recently promoted him to the position of a deputy governor are not positioned to recognize such condition. Sonko himself is believed to suffer from some kind of complex

  3. Politicians???? All they…
Politicians???? All they care about is lining their pockets, no one else. They will sell out their fellows wananchi in a second. Need I say more. Politicians and government officials in Kenya are right on the top when it comes to this disease called corruption.
