The Independent electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has called off the repeat presidential election earlier scheduled for Saturday to a later date.
The IEBC on Thursday re-scheduled the election in Kisumu, Homa Bay, Saiya and Migori counties to Saturday for security concerns. Nyanza leaders, including faith leaders, had criticized the Saturday date and called on the IEBC to postpone the election.
IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati said a new date will be announced later.

Chebukati should call it off to allow Raila to conduct his election there in 90 day in order for him to ascend himself to the throne of “President of United Kingdom of Kisumu (UKK)”. Then Raila can create his own capital city called the “City of Lord of Poverty”. As much as Kenya wants to accommodate everyone, sometimes upuzi becomes overwhelming and it becomes difficult to find a way to deal with it. Anyway, Kenya belongs to all Kenyans and if there is a section of Kenyans who refuse to be Kenyans, they are free to leave and go reside somewhere else. There is a lot of empty land in Africa that deserters can occupy.
