National Super Alliance (NASA) leaders has hit the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) with three new demands before a repeat presidential elections is conducted.
Speaking in a campaign rally in Mathare, Nairobi County on Sunday, Nasa leaders led by Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula and NASA Co-principals Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Musalia Mudavadi said that the electoral commission must recruit new Returning Officers in all constituencies to allow for a smooth election.
Secondly, the opposition outfit demanded for a clean up in the Commission by sending home officials who allowed the commitment of electoral fraud during the August 8th elections that were nullified by the Supreme Court last Friday.
Lastly, Nasa ordered that the electoral agency must cut ties with Al Ghurair printing firm, which printed ballots for August 8th elections before the fresh poll and contract a new firm with no questionable credibility.
Wetangula said that IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati had immersed himself into trouble because he declined to listen to their warning regarding the Dubai-based printing firm.
While Nasa is demanding for removal of IEBC officials ftom office, Jubilee led by President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto have vowed to resist attempts to remove the commission from office.
Nasa said that it had no faith with the current commissioners to hold the repeat poll, with Raila declaring he will not allow the commission hold the election.

As contentious an issue as…
As contentious an issue as the IEBC is, I would suggest that it is better for the concerned parties to settle it fist before setting adate for the elections.Otherwise we could find ourselves in the same mess we are in again. This is serious . On one hand Uhuru is happy with the IEBC,and the opposition is not.Could the reach a middle ground somehow before the elections?
What if NASA’a moles within…
What if NASA’a moles within IBC INTRODUCED the “fake” forms, and their agents compromised the process? A recount of votes cast which was evident of the will of Kenyans could have resolved the problem if at all there had been one with the outcome. Tricksters/liers may have clout but only time will tell how sustainable their mission can be. Power hungry dragons ate consumed by the same power they seek.
The most dangerous issue in Kenya right now is to have these revolutionary extremists with a following that cares less about progress, evokes religious dossier and have usurped segments of society to their lies.
What then do we expect of our future generations?
To the youth, think future and keep your mindsite and acts clear of monsters who are destroying your future as you watch and participate blindly. Wake Up and seize the moment
