National Super Alliance (NASA) campaign rally in Thika, Kiambu County was disrupted by rowdy Jubilee youth supporters. The youths heckled NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga as he addressed resident in Thika town, some chanting Jubilee party and President Uhuru Kenyatta’s slogans.
Police were forced to lobby teargas cannisters to disperse the crowd that pelted stones to the NASA convoy, bringing the meeting to an end.
The opposition chief faced a similar incident at Githurai centre minutes later.
Raila Odinga bodyguards were also forced to shoot in the air to disperse the rowdy youths.
Odinga in company of co-principal Musalia Mudavadi had earlier addressed diffrent rally at Kenol Town, Murang’a County.
Today’s incident comes only a day after another opposition rally was disrupted by irate Jubilee supporters in Kabarnet, Baringo county on Wednesday.

Its a shame that all this is happening. We seems to take ages to learn from our past mistakes.
