President Uhuru Kenyatta has dismissed National Super Alliance’s (NASA) threats to boycott the August 8th general elections, saying if the coalition does so the elections will still go on without them being on the ballot.

Speaking at Isiolo Stadium on Saturday, Uhuru accused NASA of intimidating the Judiciary and Kenyans by making the demands that presidential results announced at polling station level be final.

”They (NASA) should not threaten, intimidate Kenyans, if they do not want to participate (in elections), the election will still go on,” said the head of State.

He added, ”democracy allows Kenyans to choose their leaders freely without intimidation and the over 45 million Kenyans deserve respect and freedom to choose their leaders. Let’s have respect for each other”.

Present were three Isiolo county gubernatorial aspirants led by Jubilee’s Abdul Bahari, Governor Godana Doyo of Party for Development and Reforms (PDR) and Senator Mohammed Kuti.

Uhuru cautioned  school heads not to send students home for lack of fees, citing that the hunger experienced in the county left parents with nothing. ”Parents are facing hard times due to the severe drought the country is experiencing and school heads should not send students home due to lack of fees,” president Uhuru directed.

Moments after the president left the venue, supporters of the three governor aspirants crashed, leaving one person dead and others injured (RELATED: One Dead as President Uhuru’s Rally Turns Chaotic).

Kenya is not only made up of Jubilee Alliance sycophants. I hope during the forthcoming general election Kenyans will get rid of all politicians who graduated from ” Kipkorios Toroitich Arap Moi’s ” Political Science University of Nyayo House which does not tolerate opposing ideas and a ready to lock you up in jail or destroy you!
