Kenyan DJ Alemba Denies He Was Deported From US

Kenyan DJ Alemba has denied claims that he was deported from the United States.

Alemba instead says that he willingly came back to Kenya to ‘save’ the ‘ailing’ Kenyan gospel industry.

DJ Alemba left to the US at the climax of his career success under the System Unit Entertainment Label, which he Co owns with DJ Moh.

He settled in St Louis, US for four years before returning to Kenya in April last year.

Alemba says that his life in the US was good, but after observing the Kenya gospel industry crumble while away, he could not continue being in the US, when he could revive it.

He says he then decided to return home and pump “new and fresh ideas” he had learnt abroad.

“I have heard this rumors and it really tickles me, but as a matter of fact, I am an American citizen as well as Kenyan. My papers are all good and I can travel whenever I want to. I decided to come back to help take the gospel industry to another level because I can clearly see nothing much has changed,” DJ Alemba said.

“To date, those that I left behind, topping the chats the likes of DJ Moh, and DJ Sadic are still the very same ruling the game. I jetted back with so many fresh and new ideas that I will be implementing in collaboration with DJ Moh and be rest assured of witnessing a new revolution in the game.”

He has since released a couple collabos and has currently released his latest ragga riddim jam ‘Hide and Seek ’ featuring Hope Kid.

      Dual Citizenship – (Declaration)

Quote, “The current constitution unlike the previous one, allows for dual citizenship. A Kenyan citizen who acquires citizenship of any other country after 27th, August 2010 does not lose Kenyan citizenship. He/She however is required by law to declare his status immediately by completing:
•Two sets of dully filled Form-2-Declaration by Dual Citizen and attaching the following documents”

  1. Since the new constitution…
Since the new constitution was passed, keep up with kenyan affairs to reduce ignorance@ jimmie

  2. 4 yrs is such a short time…
4 yrs is such a short time to acquire US citizenship. You have to be a permanent resident (green card) for 3 yrs to qualify to apply for citizenship. The guy is fake and lying. Let him produce his citizen certificate

    • Rumor has it that he married…
Rumor has it that he married a lady who is enlisted in the military, maybe thats how he got his papers… But ako na visanga mingi sana. I don’t trust him at all.

  3. It does not really matter…
It does not really matter. Those of us who have traveled and tried new pastures know it is a road ridden with milima na mabonde, and immigration if often a thorny subject not entertained at the dinner table. So if the guy wants to be cagey about it, let him be. I totally get it. If I was to be deported from wherever (and I am not saying he has), I doubt I would be singing from the roof tops for the world to know. C’mon now, show some compassion and understanding as “foreigners” living in the west. American citizens or not, as an African, you will always be deemed as such. Period. Your current American president is demonizing all migrants and inciting hatred, so to ask a brother to print his citizenship is low and reminds me of Trump asking Obama to produce his birth certificate to prove his heritage. Low.
