When Edday Nderitu and Mugithi sensation Samidoh Muchoki decided to part ways, their online followers had plenty to say about their breakup.
Businesswoman Bernice Saroni who resides in the US explains that she and Samidoh have known each other for several years and have a strong business relationship. She also clarifies that she has never been to Samidoh’s home in Kenya and has only met his wife once during a public event. Saroni expresses her disappointment at the rumours and the negative impact they have had on her reputation and business.
She wants people to stop spreading false information and focus on positive things. The businesswoman stresses also that his relationship with the singer is purely professional and that she has nothing to do with his marital problems. Saroni divulges her opinion on Kenyan culture, noting that many Kenyans adopt a mindset of believing only what they want to believe, especially regarding relationships. In light of this, she perceives the presence of a high volume of extramarital affairs and a lack of reverence for the value of relationships.
Referring to Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu, Saroni negated the thought of her holding a grudge against her, questioning why any beef would exist between them. She says there is no reason for her to harbour resentment towards Samidoh’s spouse. She further clarifies that she did not encourage Edday to leave Samidoh despite the fact that they are close friends.
Towards the end of July, Edday confirmed that she had ended her relationship with Samidoh and clarified that she is not involved in any form of polygamous marriage. In a post on her social media, Edday explained that she made the decision to leave because she felt the relationship had become toxic. Additionally, she expressed that her main priority is to protect her children and provide them with the best possible life.
